Product Usage Instructions
- SPECIAL BUTTONS:
The system includes special buttons for specific functions. Refer to the user manual for detailed information on each button’s functionality. - IDLE SCREENS:
When the keypad is inactive, the LCD will display various status modes including system time, system status, open zones, or trouble conditions. Monitor the screen for important alerts or information. - MENU STRUCTURE:
The menu structure provides access to different settings and features of the security system. Navigate through the menu options using the keypad or touchscreen to customize the system according to your preferences.
The UNO5500 and UNO5500RF are full-message, graphic display security system keypads designed to work with a UNO Alarm Panel. The UNO5500 can also be used as a retrofit on a DSC Power Series system. The UNO5500RF contains an RF receiver that can work to pick up either SOLO-formatted sensors or DSC-format sensors. You can have multiple UNO5500RF keypads on a system and they will act as range extenders.

- STAY ARM – Press and hold to cause the system to arm in STAY mode.
- AWAY ARM – Press and hold to cause the system to arm in AWAY mode.
- PANIC – Press and hold to initiate an emergency signal.
IDLE SCREENS
The LCD will display various status modes while the keypad is inactive, cycling between the system time, the system status, and any open zones or trouble conditions that may exist.
- ARMING/DISARMING – these sequences can be initiated any time the keypad is not otherwise active by simply entering your 4-digit user code. The screen will display confirmation of arming status.
- Functions – Pressing the * key will display a menu of various options that can be selected.
Once in the * menu you can select the following options:
- 1 – Bypass. Enter the zone number that you wish to bypass.
- 2 – Troubles. Will display a list of current system troubles.
- 4 – Chime. Selecting 4 will toggle the Door Chime feature on an off.
- 7 – PGM Toggle. Follow this with a number for the PGM. For example, entering *71 will toggle PGM 1.
Functions – pressing the # button and the following buttons at the same time will jump to the menu indicated.
- 1 – User Configurations.
- LCD Contrast – Adjust the contrast of the LCD here.
- 3 – Installers.
- Partition – Select the partition for the keypad.
- Slot – Select slot for the keypad
- RF Format – Choose between SOLO RF format and DSC RF format.
