Product Usage Notice

The Seekcom S1 supports host/guest switching, but only one device can be set as the host and network node in an intercom system group. All other devices must be set as guests (factory default setting). If you need to reset the host/guest settings, the devices should be re-paired.
Please use the original charging case, audio cable and battery. Accessories that are not certified by the manufacturer or are not original replacements may pose dangers such as electric shock, fire, or explosion.
Please prevent it from falling, collision and pounding, otherwise it may cause product failure.
Please do not disassemble this product by yourself to avoid mechanical damage.

Device Storage Notice

Do not place the product near or inside heating equipment, cooking equipment, high-pressure containers, etc., to prevent battery overheating and explosion, such as microwave ovens, induction cookers, electric ovens, electric heaters, pressure cookers, water heaters, gas stoves, etc.

Components and Instruction

Headset:

1. Microphone Capsule
2. Adjustable Headband
   It can adjust the length of headset
3. External Antenna

   Move up to set it as host; Move down to set it as guest
5. Battery Compartment Switch
   Move down to open battery compartment cover
6. 3.5mm Port
   1. Plug in external earphones

7. Broadcasting Button
   Press two times to turn on/off broadcasting or ducking function(switch between these two functions via the APP)
   1. Only the host supports broadcasting function
   2. The ducking function is only available in recorder mode (It can be set via the APP).
      After the ducking function is enabled, pressing the ducking button while the “talk sound” and “recorder monitoring sound” are playing in sync can suppress the “recorder monitoring sound” and make the “talk sound” clearer.
8. Mic Stick
   The flip angle is 270 degrees, flip up to mute, flip down to cancel mute
9. Mute/PTT Button
   Short press to turn muting on/off; long press to enter PTT mode
10. Volume+/Communication Mode Button
    Short press to increase volume(6 levels); long press to turn off/on enhanced mode
    1. Only the host supports communication mode. Once enabled, the signal of guests will be changed in sync
    2. The communication mode is divided into enhanced mode and normal mode. The product is set to enhanced mode by default. If there are special requirements for radio frequency or communication, it can be adjusted according to actual needs
11. Volume-/Bluetooth Reset Button
    Short press to decrease the volume(6 levels); long-press for 5 seconds to reset Bluetooth
    1. Long press the volume + and – buttons in sync to enter pairing state
    2. The Bluetooth function is mainly used to connect the host and mobile phone for APP operation. It’s supposed to reset the bluetooth if you change the phone

Operation Guide

Battery Installation
Open the battery compartment cover, insert the battery into compartment and lock the cover. Please ensure that the battery is installed correctly (As shown in the figure).

Host and Guest Settings
Move the host/guest switch button up or down to set the device as host or guest.

1. Please set the device as host/guest before powering on. If you switch while the device is powered on, you need to restart the device.
2. Only one device can be set as the host and other devices should be set as guests in an intercom system group. If not, the device will not work properly

Power On/Off
Long press the power button to turn the headset on/off.

Host and Guest Pairing

The device is paired by default. If the device is reset as host/guest, or there is a pairing abnormality, please follow the steps to pair again:

1. Long press the volume + and – buttons in sync to enter pairing mode;
2. After successful pairing, the host indicator light keeps on blue and the guest indicator light keeps on green.

PTT
Press and hold the PTT button to enter PTT talk mode; release the button to enter mute mode; short press to turn off mute and back to the normal talk mode.

Mute
Short press the mute/PTT button, or flip the mic stick up to activate mute function. Voice prompt: muting.

Volume Adjustment
The volume level ranges from 1-6. Press the volume + or volume – button to adjust the volume. Voice prompt: Dong

Noise Reduction Mode Switch
Short press the denoise button to switch between ENC denoise/Al denoise.

Working Mode Switch
The device is set to normal mode by default. It can be changed to recorder mode via the APP.
Normal mode: Users can plug an external headphone with a mic into the 3.5mm port to communicate, or connect with another set of Seekcom S1 intercom headset system (host or guest) for cascade extension.

Recorder mode: Users can connect a recording device to the 3.5mm port to monitor the recording status.

Broadcast Button Function Customize
In host mode, device is set as broadcasting function by default. The ducking function is switchable after turning on recorder mode via APP. In guest mode, device does not support broadcasting function. The ducking function is switchable after turning on recorder mode via APP.

USB Audio Transmission
Connect to the computer via the audio cable for real-time communication, such as online meeting, etc

How to Wear
Adjust the extendable headband to an appropriate length, put on the headset and point the microphone capsule toward your mouth.

Charging
Method 1. Take out the battery and place it in the charging base, then connect the power supply to charge.
Method 2. Plug the charging cable to the USB port of the headset, then connect the power supply to charge.

APP Connection and Operation (Connected with the host)

1. Search and download the “Comica Audio” APP in your mobile phone’s APP store;

2. Turn on the Bluetooth of your mobile phone and get close to the host;
3. Open the APP to search and add the device: Seekcom S1;
   
   
4. After successful pairing, you can check the device state and operate all functions via the APP
   
   
   1. If the Bluetooth pairing fails or the device needs to be connected to a new mobile phone, please long press the Bluetooth reset button for 5 seconds to reset it.
   2. One-key ducking, recorder mode, one-to-one talk, overall PTT, voice prompt language switch, ect., can be set or switched via the APP.

Upgrade

Firmware Upgrade

1. Download the Seekcom S1 firmware upgrade package to the computer from the Comica official website.
2. after turning off the device, press and hold the volume + and power button in sync to enter copy mode. Copy the firmware upgrade package to the Seekcom S1-UPDATE folder.
3. Disconnect the USB audio cable and restart the device to upgrade automatically.

Bluetooth Connection Upgrade
Open the “Comica Audio” APP and connect with Seekcom S1. Then go to the device homepage and select settings icon in the upper right corner-Univer-sal-Firmware Upgrade.
