To enable MQTT/SparkPlug functionality, install the necessary modules via Config -> SYSTEM -> Modules.
Select and install the downloaded module to integrate MQTT support.

Changing OPC-UA Server Configuration

After installing MQTT modules, configure the OPC-UA server by going to Config -> OPC UA -> Server Settings.

MQTT/Sparkplug B with Ignition

Cunnessione in Ignition

Dopu l'installazione, inserite questu URL in un navigatore per accede à u portu 8088 nantu à l'urdinatore chì esegue Ignition.
http://localhost:8088/

Follow the steps and click “Finish Setup”.
Dopu, questu farà apparisce a schermata iniziale di accensione cum'è mostrata quì sottu.
Quandu a schermata iniziale appare, cliccate nant'à u buttone "Log In" in l'angulu in cima à diritta per cunnettassi.

U nome d'utilizatore è a password aduprati per cunnettassi sò listessi à quelli durante l'installazione d'Ignition.

Usendu MQTT/Candela B cù l'accensione

L'accensione ùn supporta micca MQTT o SparkPlug in u so statu iniziale (subitu dopu l'installazione).

MQTT/SparkPlug can be supported by installing an additional MQTT module. – The MQTT module can be downloaded here.

- Ci sò quattru moduli MQTT furniti da Ignition.
  - The Distributor Module and Engine Module must be installed.

  - Install if you want to create a history of data communicated by MQTT Sparkplug.
Per u modulu MQTT, apre "Config" -> "SYSTEM" -> "Modules" di Ignition.

Cliccate nant'à "Installà o aghjurnà un modulu...". Cliccate nant'à "Installà o aghjurnà un modulu...".
Selezziunate u modulu telecaricatu è appughjate u buttone "Installà" per inizià l'installazione.

Quandu l'installazione hè cumpleta, a schermata di cunfigurazione di i moduli mostra i moduli installati.
Dopu avè stallatu i moduli ligati à MQTT, a cunfigurazione di u servitore OPC-UA deve esse mudificata è resettata. (perchè MQTT hè trattatu cum'è un ughjettu di OPC-UA)

Per resettà u servitore OPC-UA, selezziunate "Config", "OPC UA", "Server Settings" è verificate a casella "Mostra e proprietà avanzate".
Dopu, attivate "Esponi" Tag Providers” checkbox

Appughjà u buttone "riavvia" à diritta di "OPC-UA".
Inizialmente, i dati ponu esse mandati da u nodu MQTT (latu di u dispusitivu) à l'Ignition, ma micca in a direzzione inversa (Ignition à u nodu MQTT).
This can be deactivated by setting To do this, open “Config”->”MQTT ENGINE”- >”Settings” and uncheck “Block Node Commands” (for Nodes) and “Block Device Commands” (for Devices) in “Command Settings.
U modulu Distributore MQTT ghjoca u rolu di un broker MQTT, ma quandu si accede da un nodu (dispositivu) MQTT, l'autentificazione hè realizata cù un nome d'utilizatore è una password.
This user name and password are set from “Config” -> “MQTT DISTRIBUTOR” -> “Settings” -> “Users”.
To create a new user, click “Create new MQTT Users…” on this screen. Click “Create new MQTT Users…” on this screen to create a new user.
Quandu create un novu utilizatore, definite u nome d'utilizatore è a password, ma definite ancu i privilegi (ACL) per questu utilizatore.
Per permette l'accessu in lettura/scrittura à tutti i temi per u contu utilizatore chì state cunfigurà, impostate "RW #".

How to check the MQTT communication

Dopu chì l'installazione di i moduli relativi à MQTT è a cunfigurazione di OPC-UA sò cumpletate, puderete verificà i parametri relativi à MQTT cum'è oggetti di OPCUA.
Open “Config” -> “OPC CLIENT” -> “OPC Quick Client”,
Expand the tree in the order of “Ignition OPC UA Server” > “Tag Providers” > “MQTT Engine”.
Nodes connected by Sparkplug are displayed under “MQTT Engine”
