Designed for mobile devices – Apple iPhone & iPad, Android Phones & Tablets.

  • In the App Store / Google Play search for ‘CleanSpace Smart’ or scan the QR code.
  • Confirm Bluetooth is selected ON in mobile device settings.
  • Android only – confirm Location Services is selected ON in mobile device settings.

PAIR

  • Press the ON button once to set your CST Power Unit to STANDBY Mode.

2. Open CleanSpace SMART App

  • The app will open on the Home Page.

3. Pair Power Unit

  • On the home page, select ‘Pair Power Unit’.
  • All CST Power Units within Bluetooth range (in STANDBY or ON Mode) will display.
  • Locate and select your CST Power Unit.
  • The Power Unit serial number will display for identification.

4. Confirm Pairing

  • When successfully paired, the paired CST Power Unit will beep twice.
  • The home screen will appear automatically.
  • When the ‘Find My Unit’ icon at the bottom of the page is pressed, the paired Power unit will beep twice for identification.

Note: Pairing can be done prior to or after donning.

DASHBOARD

Connection Status:
Connected
Respirator serial number and Power Unit firmware version are displayed.
Confirm respirators firmware is up to date on the Settings page.
Battery Charge:
GOOD indicates the battery has sufficient charge to start a work session.
RECHARGE (appears with a red circle) indicates that prior to starting a work session the battery should be recharged. Ignoring the recharge prompt may cause the low battery alarm to sound before a work session has been completed.
Particulate Filter Remaining:
Displays the percentage of filter capacity remaining. A filter alarm will sound at approximately 20% filter capacity remaining.
Estimated Protection:
The respirator runs an Estimated Protection calculation every minute. Results are displayed as Excellent, Good or Fair. Refer to the CleanSpace Estimated Protection Explainer for more information.CleanSpace Smart App - figure 3

Alarm Status:
Alarms will display for the following conditions:

  • Filter Absent
  • Low Battery
  • Filter Service Life Expired (for both Particulate and Combination Filters)

FILTER

Displayed for all particulate filters – Product Code, Filter Type, Filter Serial Number and Filter Expiry Date.
Particulate Filter Used (min)
The total time the filter has been used (minutes) is displayed. This will automatically increase every minute.

Combination Filters
Displayed for all Combination Filters – Product Code, Filter Type, Filter Serial Number and Filter Expiry Date.
Combination Filter Used (min)
The total time the filter has been used (minutes) is displayed. This will automatically increase every minute.
Gas-Vapour Service Life (min)
Only visible when a Combination (Gas) Filter is in use. This time is set by selecting the ‘Set Gas- Vapour Service Life (mins) button on the filter page. For guidance on setting the Gas-Vapour Sevice Life, please refer to the CleanSpace Filter Service Life Explainer.
Combination Filter Remaining (min)
The total time the filter has remaining (minutes) is displayed. This will automatically decrease every minute from the time set for the Gas-Vapour Service Life .
