Safety Instructions

Read the instruction manual very carefully before putting this appliance into operation. Keep this document, including the warranty certificate, receipt and, if possible, the box with the inner packaging in a safe place. If you pass the appliance on to a third party, always provide them with all the relevant documents.

  • Only use the appliance for private use and for its intended purpose. This appliance is not intended for commercial use.
  • The lamp is approved for outdoor use in private households.
  • Do not immerse the lamp or charging cable in water or other liquids. Only use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the surface.
  • Ensure that no liquid penetrates the lamp.
  • Warning! Risk of electric shock! The lamp and charging cable must be checked regularly for signs of damage or material fatigue. If damage is detected, the appliance must no longer be used.
  • Never touch the connected power supply unit (not included in the scope of delivery) or the charging cable with wet hands.
  • Do not repair the lamp yourself. Always contact authorised specialist personnel.
  • Do not open the lamp! There are no serviceable parts inside the lampshade.
  • The LED light source cannot be replaced. When the lamp has reached the end of its life, the entire lamp must be replaced.
  • Do not look directly into the light source.
  • Colour deviations between LEDs of different batches are possible. Light colour and brightness can also change over the service life.
  • The USB-C charging port has no data function. It is only used to supply power for charging the integrated Li-ion rechargeable battery.
  • Do not expose the built-in rechargeable battery to hard impacts or pressure.
  • Do not use the lamp in extremely hot, cold, dusty or damp locations.
  • The lamp must not be exposed to extreme weather conditions (e. g. sub-zero temperatures, extreme heat or extreme heavy rain).
  • Select a horizontal, non-slip surface as the location for the lamp.
  • Keep the lamp and charging cable away from naked flames and hot surfaces.

Charging the Rechargeable Battery

CAUTION:

  • Only charge the rechargeable battery indoors.
  • Place the charging cable so that it does not present a tripping hazard.
  • Do not kink the charging cable and do not lay it over sharp edges.
  • Choose the place for charging so that the appliance is not exposed to direct sunlight or other sources of heat.
  • Do not charge the rechargeable battery unattended.
  • Always unplug the power supply unit from the wall socket after charging.
  • Only use a DC 5 V, 1 A power supply unit (not included in the scope of delivery). Read the instruction manual for the power supply unit you have selected before use.
  • Do not use a damaged power supply unit.
  • Fully charge the rechargeable battery before first use.
  • Only use the charging cable supplied with the appliance for charging.
    1. Switch off the lamp.
    2. Connect the supplied charging cable to the charging socket. The charging socket is located on the underside of the lampshade. Then connect the charging cable with a power supply unit.
    3. Connect your power supply unit to a socket.
      • During the charging process, a small area in the sensor surface lights up red.
      • When the rechargeable battery is fully charged, a small area in the sensor surface lights up green.
    4. When the rechargeable battery is fully charged, unplug the charging cable from the charging socket on the lamp.
    5. You can now use the lamp

Operation

The lamp is operated via the sensor surface on the top of the lampshade. The area (Classbach-C-TL-4025-LED-Rechargeable-Table-Lamp-FIG (1) ) for selecting the function (on / colour change mode / off) is located in the centre. The circle around this area is used to select the colour.

Switching the Lamp On / Off

  1. Touch theClassbach-C-TL-4025-LED-Rechargeable-Table-Lamp-FIG (1) sensor surface to switch the lamp on.
  2. The lamp starts with the last white tone set.
  3. If you touch theClassbach-C-TL-4025-LED-Rechargeable-Table-Lamp-FIG (1) sensor surface again, the lamp is in automatic colour change mode.
  4. To switch the lamp off, touch theClassbach-C-TL-4025-LED-Rechargeable-Table-Lamp-FIG (1) sensor surface a third time.

Dimming Function for the White Light

  1. Switch on the lamp. The lamp lights up white.
  2. Touch and hold the sensor surface to select the desired brightness. The lamp dims from bright to dark.
  3. Touch and hold the sensor surface again to increase the brightness again. The lamp changes from dark to bright.

Select Colour

  1. Switch on the lamp.
  2. Touch a point on the circle to select a specific colour.
    • You can also move your finger along the circle to select the desired colour

Storage

  • Always store the lamp out of the reach of children in a well-ventilated and dry place.
  • The storage temperature should be between 10 °C and 20 °C.
  • We recommend storing the lamp in its original packaging if it is not to be used for a longer period of time.
  • Rechargeable battery life: Even when switched off, the rechargeable battery is constantly discharging. If you do not use the lamp for a long time, charge the rechargeable battery at least every 4 to 6 weeks. Failure to do so may result in deep discharge, which can damage the rechargeable battery.

Disposal

Rechargeable battery/battery disposal The appliance contains a rechargeable battery. Used batteries / rechargeable batteries should not be disposed of with household waste. As a consumer, you are legally obliged to return used batteries / rechargeable batteries. The rechargeable battery must be removed before the appliance is disposed of. Please contact qualified specialists for this. Information on where to dispose of batteries / rechargeable batteries can be obtained from your local authority or municipal administration. Your dealer and contractual partner is also obliged to take back batteries / rechargeable batteries free of charge.
