USER MANUAL
The REX series (C900/C700/C400/C100/C10) is a microcomputer-based temperature control instrument featuring PID self-tuning (automatic optimization). Read this manual for safe setup and parameter operation before use.
Setup & Basic Use
- Ensure the instrument graduation settings and supply voltage match your facility operating specifications.
- Wire according to the wiring diagram labeled on the instrument housing (use compensating wires for thermocouples; for RTD use three low-resistance wires of equal length and matching cross-sections).
- With the instrument energized, set the temperature set value (SV): in normal PV/SV display, press SET to make SV flicker, use ◀ to select the target digit, then use ▲/▼ to adjust. Press SET once more to return to normal display.
- To enter parameter setting mode, hold SET for three seconds from the normal display. Press SET sequentially to cycle through parameters; note the instrument auto-times out after 30 seconds of no key press, abandoning uncommitted changes.

6. Error Diagnosis & Display
If the instrument experiences an operating fault, it will display one of the following diagnostic codes:
| Error Code | Description | Corrective Action |
|---|---|---|
| Err | Internal instrument failure | Please contact support/send for repair. |
| ooo | Input open-circuit, reversed polarity, or input signal exceeds range limit | Check the physical sensor element, connections, and wiring polarity. |
| uuu | Input open-circuit, reversed polarity, or input signal is below range limit | Check the physical sensor element, connections, and wiring polarity. |
7. Installation & Connection Guidelines
- Check and confirm that the instrument’s graduation settings and supply voltage match the operating specifications of your facility.
- Connect wiring in strict accordance with the wiring diagram labeled on the physical housing of the instrument.
- For thermocouple inputs, always use compensating wires of matching core materials.
- For RTD (thermal resistance) inputs, use three low-resistance wires of equal length and matching cross-sections.
- WARNING: Ensure the power input lines are not mixed or crossed with the sensor signal lines. Accidental high voltage applied to sensor terminals will destroy the device circuitry beyond repair. Do not short-circuit the output terminals.
- Route the instrument’s power feed and signal cables separately from high-current machinery cables to reduce electromagnetic interference. Shielded cabling is highly recommended where interference is present.
- When placing an order, please specify:
- ① Complete instrument model code
- ② Sensor type code (Graduation)
- ③ Control output type
- ④ Target measuring range requirements
- ⑤ Any customized technical functions or system needs
8. Liability & Warranty Statement
This product undergoes strict quality control inspections prior to shipment. The factory provides a one-year warranty covering manufacturing flaws and defects, limited solely to repair or replacement of the device; the manufacturer does not bear any collateral, consequential, or joint liabilities. Damages resulting from unauthorized disassembly, modifications, or incorrect field wiring/operation are entirely excluded from warranty options.
9. Error Diagnosis & Corrective Actions
- Err: Internal instrument failure. Corrective action: Please contact support/send for repair.
- ooo: Input open-circuit, reversed polarity, or input signal exceeds the range limit. Corrective action: Check the sensor element, connections, and wiring polarity.

FAQ
How do I set the temperature set value (SV)?
In the normal PV/SV display state, press to make SV flicker. Use to select the target digit, then use / to set the desired temperature value. Press again to return to the normal PV/SV display state.
How do I enter parameter setting mode?
From the normal display state, hold the key for three seconds to enter parameter setting mode. The parameter symbol appears in the PV window and the value appears in the SV window; press sequentially to cycle through parameters.
What happens if I stop pressing keys during parameter changes?
The instrument has an automatic timeout response function: if no keys are pressed for 30 seconds, it returns to the main display mode and abandons uncommitted changes.
What does the error code ‘ooo’ mean and what should I do?
‘ooo’ indicates an input open-circuit, reversed polarity, or that the input signal exceeds the range limit. Check the physical sensor element, connections, and wiring polarity.
What does the error code ‘uuu’ mean and what should I do?
‘uuu’ indicates an input open-circuit, reversed polarity, or that the input signal is below the range limit. Check the physical sensor element, connections, and wiring polarity.
