Please read and follow all the safety instructions below and on the product before installing the ceiling mount.   • Do not begin installation until you have read and understood the complete operating instructions.
  • Carry out the installation with another person to ensure safe installation.
  • Remove the product from its packaging and remove all packaging material. Make sure that no packaging material is on or in the product. If you notice any damage to the packaging, also check whether there is any damage to the product. If you notice any external damage to the unit or any unexpected or unusual functioning, the product must not be used any longer.   • To ensure trouble-free operation, the product must only be used indoors, it is NOT suitable for outdoor use.
  • The use of the product and accessories is forbidden to children under 16 years of age.
  • Ensure that no children play with the appliance or are in the vicinity without supervision.
  • Converting or modifying the product compromises product safety.
  • Handle the product with care. It can be damaged by knocks, blows or falling from even a small height.
  • Do not use the product near gas or water appliances or in a dusty environment.
  • Use the product only in its intended manner. Any use for any other purpose may damage the product or its surroundings.
  • Tighten the screws, but do not overtighten them. Overtightening (e.g. by using a cordless screwdriver) can cause damage and impair the secure hold of the product.
  • If necessary, obtain suitable mounting material for your mounting surface.
  • Make sure that the surface has sufficient load-bearing capacity to securely and safely mount the product and other components securely and permanently.
  • After mounting the product and other components, check that they are sufficiently strong and safe to operate.
  • Suspended loads must be checked for strength and load-bearing capacity at least twice a year.
  • Do not load the product with more weight than permitted. Pay attention to the maximum permissible carrying weight.
  • Make sure that the product is loaded as centrally as possible, especially after the product has been adjusted.
  • All supply lines and cables must not be subjected to any additional load and must be laid in such a way that they are not damaged or crushed.
  • The product may only be combined with projectors. All mounting points on the projector must be firmly connected to the bracket.
  • The bracket may only be connected to or removed from the projector when it is dis- connected from the power and any other cables.
  • Projectors with more than 4 fixing points must be installed in such a way that 4 points are selected which distributed over the maximum area of the projector chassis.
  • The enclosed screws for mounting the projector should be checked for compatibility with your unit. If they are too long (may damage the projector) or too short (at least 5 threads must be able to be screwed in), obtain screws suitable for your unit.
  • After installation of the bracket and the projector attached to it, the entire suspension must be checked again for bond strength and tight fit to your supporting structure before
    commissioning.
  • During the installation work, secure the installation site over a wide area. No persons or other objects or furniture should be below it during the installation work.
  • Ensure that there is sufficient space at the installation site to guarantee safe installation.
  • Do not install the product too close to walls or other objects, Projectors must be able to be ventilated from the outside.
  • The installation site must be chosen in such a way that it is accessible at all times and is not obstructed in order to carry out a regular visual and tensile check of all components (at least twice a year!).
  • This bracket is only suitable for mounting on ceilings. With sloping ceilings the slope of the ceiling must not exceed the possible angle of inclination of the bracket. The projector mount may only be suspended vertically.
  • Failure to comply with the above instructions may result in personal injury and damage to the product or equipment connected to it. Incorrect installation or use may also invalidate the warranty.
