  Press the button on the Remote Extension board in the Smart Gate M so the LED flashes rapidly. Within 60 seconds, press the top right and bottom left buttons on the remote simultaneously for 3 seconds. The process is successful when the LED on the Remote Extension stays lit for 5 seconds.

• What type of battery does the Systec GateRemote use?

  The Systec GateRemote uses a standard CR2025 battery. To replace it, open the battery compartment by pressing the small button at the back of the remote.

• What should I do if the LED on the Remote Extension doesn't stay lit after pairing?

  This indicates the pairing process was not successful. Repeat the steps, ensuring you hold the remote control buttons for the full 3 seconds and are standing close to the receiver (within 5 meters). Also, verify the battery is not dead.

• How many remote controls can I program per Systec system?

  You can program multiple GateRemote remote controls per system. If multiple SmartGate M systems are operated in parallel in the same commercial space, they can be assigned and operated independently of each other.
