SKYZONE support FAQ

Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.

  • How do I update the firmware on my SKYZONE goggles?

To update firmware, connect the goggles to a computer via USB-C while holding the menu wheel (or specified button). The computer will recognize the goggles as a removable storage drive. Copy the firmware file to the root of this drive, and the goggles will install the update automatically.

  • What is SteadyView technology?

SteadyView is SKYZONE's proprietary receiver technology that merges two video signals into one, rather than simply switching between them. This prevents image tearing and rolling, resulting in a more stable and clear image in challenging reception conditions.

  • How do I power the Cobra X goggles?

The Cobra X goggles can be powered by a single 18650 Li-ion battery (via the internal battery bay), a 2-6S LiPo battery via the DC input, or through USB-C (5V).

  • How do I use the Head Tracker feature?

Initialize the gyro by keeping the goggles horizontal and stable upon power-up. You can reset the PPM signal to the center by holding the HT button. Head tracking settings can be adjusted in the system menu.
