You can extend transmission distance by adjusting the built-in bandwidth switch. Lowering the bandwidth setting from 100Mbps to 10Mbps can increase the maximum cable distance from 100 meters to 250 meters over a CAT.5e cable. Remember to restart the device after adjusting.
