RAMUC support FAQ
Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.
-
Does RAMUC Pool Paint need a primer?
No, all RAMUC paints are self-priming and do not require a separate primer.
-
How long does RAMUC epoxy pool paint take to cure?
For an outdoor pool, it generally takes 5-7 dry days to fill the pool. For an indoor pool, allow 10-14 days. If rain occurs, allow an extra day of dry time for each day of rain.
-
Can I apply RAMUC paint on a damp surface?
Traditional solvent-based epoxies and rubber paints require completely dry surfaces. However, RAMUC DS acrylic aquatic coating can be applied to damp surfaces.
-
Why does my newly painted pool look faded or chalky?
This can happen if the pool is filled before the paint is completely cured, or if water is super-chlorinated or overly shocked. Follow manufacturer recommendations carefully to balance water chemistry.
-
How should I prepare a previously painted epoxy pool for recoating?
Clean the entire pool surface to remove dirt, oils, and chalk. Existing epoxy must be cleaned well, all residue removed, and sanded with 80-grit sandpaper to create mechanical adhesion. Remove all residue before applying new RAMUC HB31 Epoxy Pool Paint.
