Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.
-
How do I maintain my Mail Boss mailbox?
Apply a clear or light-colored car wax to the exterior 2-3 times per year. Use a protective paint like Rust-Oleum if the finish is damaged, and apply 'Tri-Flow' lubricant to the interior of the lock twice a year.
-
What should I do if I lose my Mail Boss keys?
You must have your key number to order replacement keys. Without the key number, you will not be able to get replacements and will need to purchase a completely new lock and keys set from Mail Boss.
-
How high should I install my Mail Boss curbside mailbox?
Mailboxes are generally installed at a height of 41 to 45 inches from the road surface to the point of mail entry, and set back 6 to 8 inches from the curb. Always confirm placement and height requirements with your local post office before installing.
