Loosen the two adjustment knobs on the brackets about 1-2 turns to slide and tilt the shield. Position it to your preferred height and angle, then snugly re-tighten the knobs. For safety, never adjust the windshield while riding.
Most MadStad windshields work best when set at a 55-60 degree angle. This generally allows airflow to smoothly clear the top of your helmet while still allowing you to see over the shield comfortably.
In most model-specific kits, you cannot use the factory windshield. MadStad systems usually include a custom acrylic windshield specifically designed to mount to their proprietary brackets and replace the factory supports.
MadStad adjustable brackets carry a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. Windshields, deflectors, and other plastic parts are warrantied for 1 year against manufacturing defects (excluding normal wear and tear).
