Luminell support FAQ

Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.

  • Can I dismantle or open my Luminell RLX floodlight myself?

Floodlights like the RLX C G2 should only be opened or dismantled by Glamox authorized personnel. However, customers are permitted to perform all standard power connections as described in the user manual.

  • What is the purpose of the Luminell Connection Box Gel Kit?

The gel fills the connection box and displaces the air, preventing water ingress and creating a maintenance-free lighting setup. This is highly beneficial for lights mounted in hard-to-reach locations.

  • What should I do if I see dew or condensation inside the glass of my new product?

A small amount of dew may be visible on the inside of the glass on brand new products. This is a normal result of the tough-gel coating process used on the circuit boards and will disappear over time.

  • Can I reuse the floodlight connection after it has been filled with gel?

No, after the floodlight terminal has been filled with gel, it cannot be disconnected and reused, as the gel permanently seals the terminals. However, the cable can be reused if the part exposed to the gel is cut off.
