About FreeStyle Libre manuals on Manuals.plus

FreeStyle Libre, a brand of Abbott Diabetes Care, revolutionizes diabetes management with its advanced Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) systems. Designed to replace routine fingersticks, the FreeStyle Libre portfolio (including the Libre 14 day, Libre 2, and Libre 3 systems) utilizes a small, discreet sensor worn on the back of the upper arm.

This sensor continuously measures glucose levels in the interstitial fluid, providing users with real-time data, trend arrows, and historical graphs to better understand how food, exercise, and insulin affect their body. The system integrates seamlessly with dedicated readers and smartphone apps, such as FreeStyle LibreLink, enabling users to scan their sensor or receive automatic readings via Bluetooth (depending on the model). Features like optional glucose alarms alert users to high or low levels, enhancing safety and control.
