Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.
Most La Crosse Clock Co. wall clocks require 1 AA Alkaline battery. It is recommended to use fresh batteries and avoid mixing old and new ones to prevent leakage or damage.
If your clock is steadily losing time or stops operating, the battery likely needs replacement. The quartz movement is designed to keep accurate time as long as the battery has sufficient power.
Locate the Time Set Wheel on the back of the movement (usually above or near the battery compartment). Rotate the wheel until the hands display the correct time.
Only specific models designated as 'Indoor/Outdoor' are suitable for outside use. These should be mounted in a location with an overhang to protect them from direct overhead rain, snow, and direct sunlight, which can affect thermometer accuracy.
Standard La Crosse Clock Co. products typically carry a 1-year or 2-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of consumer purchase.
