Install Instamic Remote from the App Store or Google Play, power on your Instamic, then open the app and tap your device in the connection list. Select the operating mode appropriate for your recording workflow.
Follow your model's firmware upgrade guide using the Windows or macOS upgrade application and the supplied USB cable. Do not disconnect the unit during the update. Afterward, connect through Instamic Remote and check the firmware version below the device icon.
