Twist the Flic button to the left (often while stuck to a surface to get leverage) to open the battery hatch. Replace the old battery with a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up, then twist the lid back on.
Standard Flic buttons are water-resistant but not waterproof. They should not be submerged. Waterproofing is possible using specific accessories like the Silicone Case for older models.
