How do I change the PIN on my Epic Systems smart lock?
To change the PIN, open the battery cover and press the Registration button. Enter your current PIN (or the default 1234) followed by the # button. Press 1, enter your new 4-12 digit PIN, press #, re-enter the new PIN, and press the Registration button to complete.

How do I register an RFID card on my Epic lock?
Open the battery cover, press the Registration button, enter your current PIN followed by #, and press 2. Place your new RFID card on the reader. Once the 3-digit card number is displayed, press the Registration button to finish.

What should I do if my Epic Systems lock runs out of battery?
If the batteries die completely, you can hold a 9V battery against the emergency power terminal on the outside unit to temporarily power the lock. Then, touch the keypad and enter your PIN to open the door and replace the internal AA batteries.
