ENGUIE support FAQ

Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.

  • How do I turn on my ENGUIE / ENGWE e-bike?

First, insert the key into the battery block and turn it clockwise to power on the battery. Then, press and hold the power button on the handlebar display (usually for 2-3 seconds) until the screen lights up.

  • How do I charge my e-bike battery correctly?

You can charge the battery while it is on the bike or remove it to charge indoors. Always plug the charger into the battery first, then into the wall outlet. The charger light will turn green when the battery is fully charged.

  • What should I do if my display shows an error code?

An error code (often in the format of E0**) indicates an electronic system fault. Refer to the error code chart in your specific user manual to diagnose the issue, and contact support at service@engwe-bikes.com if further assistance is needed.

  • How do I engage the pedal assist (PAS)?

Once the bike is turned on, use the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons on the display to adjust the assist level (e.g., from 0 to 5). Level 0 uses no motor assistance, while higher levels provide increasing motor output as you pedal.

  • How does the push assistance mode work?

Press and hold the minus (-) or designated push-assist button on the display. The bike will move steadily forward at a constant low speed (around 6 km/h) to help you easily walk the bike. Release the button to stop the assistance.
