eKube support FAQ

Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.

  • Where should I install my eKube water softener?

Install the unit on a flat surface, protected from direct sunlight, wet weather, and freezing temperatures. Ensure the water temperature is between 4°C and 24°C, and that there is adequate access for periodic servicing and salt filling.

  • What kind of salt is recommended for eKube softeners?

Tablet salt is highly recommended. Fill the cabinet to approximately 20 cm from the salt lid, making sure it is no higher than the top of the brine well.

  • What water pressure is required for eKube water softeners?

The incoming water pressure must be between 2.1 bar (30 psi) and 5 bar (70 psi). If the pressure is below 2.1 bar, a suitable water pump is needed. Avoid installing if pressure exceeds 5 bar unless a pressure-reducing valve is fitted.

  • How do I initialize my eKube water softener for the first time?

Plug in the transformer and wait for the screen to display 'INITIALIZING WAIT PLEASE'. Unlocking the screen by pressing 'MENU' for 3 seconds, manually step the valve to BACKWASH mode, then proceed through the BRINE, RINSE, and REFILL steps to properly start the unit.
