About ArcDroid manuals on Manuals.plus
ArcDroid™, manufactured by 2 AM Innovation Limited, produces the world's first portable CNC plasma cutting robot.
Designed for both hobbyists and industrial fabricators, the system uses an innovative Simple Trace™ OS and an interactive touchscreen controller. This allows operators to easily trace existing physical templates and convert them into precise digital cutting paths, effectively eliminating the need for complex CAD software or an external computer. With extensive compatibility across most non-HF plasma cutters, ArcDroid offers a highly versatile, reliable tabletop solution for creating custom metal parts, performing precision repairs, and automating metalworking tasks.

Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.
-
How do I calibrate my ArcDroid CNC?
Assemble the calibration triangle, attach the stylus, connect the calibration sled to the machine, and clear the area. Access the routine via Settings then Calibrate on the touchscreen, and follow the on-screen instructions to guide the stylus.
-
Is ArcDroid compatible with all plasma cutters?
ArcDroid uses a simple two-wire interface to connect with most plasma cutters. However, it is NOT compatible with High Frequency (HF) plasma cutters. Consult your plasma cutter's manufacturer if you are unsure.
-
Do I need an external computer to use the ArcDroid?
No. The ArcDroid operates via the Simple Trace™ Controller, a standalone touchscreen interface that lets you trace templates and program cutting paths directly on the machine.
-
What should I do if my plasma cutter does not have a dedicated trigger port?
You will need to access the trigger switch inside the handle of the plasma cutter and connect the two contacts in parallel to the torch switch connectors on the back of the ArcDroid. It is highly recommended to consult the ArcDroid video tutorials before attempting this modification.
