For Insert Style Meters, the ideal range is 0.5m/s to 2.5m/s. For Pit Style Meters, it should be designed for an ideal range between 0.5m/s and 4.0m/s.

How far can the flow transmitter be mounted from the flow detector?
The flow transmitter is normally placed within 10 meters of the flow detector. Longer distances are possible (up to a maximum cable length of 100 meters) but must be specified at the time of ordering.
