HOW TO PROGRAM NUTRITIFACT LABELS
A Step by Step Guide

- Get your NIP ready
Start by getting all your Nutritional Information Panel ready. Use the NPC tool on the Food Standards website to calculate the average nutrient content. Visit: https://www.foodstandards.gov.au/ - Set up Nutrifact
Input your NIP figures into CL Works Pro under the Data Tab. Select Nutrifact on the left column to create entry for each NIP required. - Link to PLU
Link the newly created Nutrifact code to your PLU under the PLU Tab.
Change your Label number or Aux Label number if needed. - Download
Download PLU, Nutrifact Data to scale. Remember to tick the check boxes for the items that needs to be transferred to the scale when downloading. - Test
You may need to change the label template. Press [1510] MENU on the scale to make change to label number to desirable label design.
Print a test label to confrim NIP are printing correcly.
Nutrifact to CL Works Pro
After generating the Nutrition Information Panel (NIP) using Nutritional Panel Calculator (NPC) from the Food Standards website. Your are now ready to input into CL Works Pro.
Create a new Nutrifact under Data tab.
Enter NIP values base the Average Quantity per Serving. See below example
- Click on Config tab. Change the Nutrition Decimal Point to 1.
- Ignore the decimal points for Calories and Sodium when entering the NIP Values.
- Sodium cannot consist of decimal point.
