1. Introducció

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective operation of your BAOFENG UV-32 10W High Power Multi-Band Handheld Radio. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper functionality and to prevent damage.

2. Informació de seguretat

The BAOFENG UV-32 is a high-power, multi-functional two-way radio designed for reliable communication. It features a 2.0-inch TFT large screen, GPS positioning, NOAA weather alerts, and USB-C charging.

5. Configuració

5.1. Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Alineeu el paquet de bateries amb les ranures de la part posterior de la ràdio.
2. Feu lliscar el paquet de bateries cap amunt fins que encaixi al seu lloc.
3. Per treure-la, premeu el pestell d'alliberament de la bateria i feu-la lliscar cap avall.

5.2. Fixació de l'antena

Screw the high gain antenna clockwise into the connector on the top of the radio until it is firmly seated. Do not overtighten.

5.3. Carregant la bateria

The UV-32 features a Type-C USB charging port for convenience.

1. Connect the Type-C USB cable to the charging port on the radio.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank, laptop, car charger).
3. The charging indicator light will show red during charging and turn green when fully charged.

6. Instruccions de funcionament

6.1. Encendre/apagar i control de volum

• Encès: Rotate the Power/Volume knob (04 in Figure 4.1) clockwise until a click is heard. The display will light up.
• Apagar: Rotate the Power/Volume knob counter-clockwise until a click is heard.
• Ajust de volum: Gireu el botó d'engegada/volum en sentit horari per augmentar el volum i en sentit antihorari per disminuir-lo.

6.2. Selecció de canals

The UV-32 supports up to 1000 channels. Use the Encoder/Channel Selector Switch (02 in Figure 4.1) or the Numeric Keypad (09 in Figure 4.1) to select channels.

• Codificador: Rotate the encoder to scroll through available channels.
• Teclat numèric: Directly enter the channel number.

6.3. Transmissió i recepció

• Recepció: When a signal is received, the TX/RX Status Indication (03 in Figure 4.1) will light up, and audio will be heard from the speaker.
• Transmetent: Press and hold the PTT (Push-To-Talk) Key (06 in Figure 4.1) to transmit. Speak clearly into the built-in microphone (10 in Figure 4.1). Release the PTT key to receive.

6.4. Funcionament multibanda

The radio supports a wide range of frequencies for both receiving (RX) and transmitting (TX).

The UV-32 supports the following frequency ranges: FM: 76-108MHz (RX), AM: 108-136MHz (RX), 136-174MHz (RX), 220-260MHz (RX), 350-390MHz (RX), 400-520MHz (RX), 144-148MHz (TX), and 420-450MHz (TX).

6.5. Tri-Power Settings

Adjust the transmission power (High, Mid, Low) to optimize range and battery life.

6.6. Navegació GPS

The built-in GPS provides precise location tracking for outdoor activities.

• Access the GPS function through the radio's menu.
• The display will show your current coordinates.
• Refer to the on-screen prompts for marking waypoints and navigating.

6.7. Alertes meteorològiques de la NOAA

Stay informed with real-time weather alerts.

The radio can receive 10 NOAA weather channels, providing timely alerts for extreme weather events such as sandstorms, heavy rain, blizzards, and rainstorms.

• Navigate to the NOAA weather channel section in the menu.
• The radio can monitor 10 NOAA weather channels for alerts.
• An alarm will sound if a weather alert is broadcast.

6.8. Programació de freqüència sense fil i escaneig d'una sola tecla

• Programació sense fil: Program channels instantly via a compatible smartphone application (refer to the BAOFENG website for app details). This eliminates the need for physical cables.
• Escaneig amb una sola tecla: Activate the scanning feature to automatically detect active channels and frequencies. This helps in finding clear communication channels quickly.

6.9. Ràdio AM/FM

The UV-32 includes an AM/FM radio for entertainment and information.

• Access the AM/FM radio function through the menu.
• Use the channel selector or numeric keypad to tune to desired stations.

6.10. Funció VOX

VOX (Voice Operated Exchange) allows hands-free transmission. When enabled, the radio will transmit automatically when it detects your voice.

• Enable/disable VOX and adjust its sensitivity through the radio's menu settings.

6.11. DTMF Function

DTMF (Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency) signaling is used for various control functions, such as remote control of repeaters or selective calling.

• Refer to advanced programming guides for specific DTMF code setup and usage.

7. Manteniment

• Neteja: Utilitzeu un suau, damp drap per netejar la superfície de la ràdio. No utilitzeu productes químics agressius ni netejadors abrasius.
• Cura de la bateria: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not short-circuit battery terminals. Recharge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to maintain its lifespan.
• Antena: Assegureu-vos que l'antena estigui ben connectada. Eviteu doblegar-la o sotmetre-la a tensió.
• Emmagatzematge: Si guardeu la ràdio durant un període prolongat, traieu-ne la bateria.

The BAOFENG UV-32 radio comes with a 1 anys de garantia from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, unauthorized modifications, or exposure to water.
