2. Què hi ha a la caixa

Upon opening your AMPLIMAX package, please verify that all the following components are included:

• AMPLIMAX 4G Outdoor LTE Modem Unit
• Power over Ethernet (PoE) Injector
• Cable d'alimentació
• Cable Ethernet
• Mounting Kit (for pole or wall installation)
• Guia d'inici ràpid (si escau)

3. Guia de configuració

Segueix aquests passos per configurar el teu AMPLIMAX modem and establish an internet connection.

Step 1: Perform Blind Search (Optional but Recommended)

Before inserting a SIM card, you can use the Blind Search feature to determine which cellular carrier provides the strongest signal in your location. This helps in choosing the best data plan for optimal performance.

1. Connecteu el AMPLIMAX unit to the PoE injector using the Ethernet cable.
2. Plug the PoE injector into a power outlet.
3. Press the 'Easy Install' button on the AMPLIMAX unit. The device will scan for available cellular networks and display signal strength indicators.
4. Note the carrier with the highest signal strength.

El AMPLIMAX requires a Nano SIM card with an active data plan from your chosen carrier.

1. Locate the SIM card slot on the AMPLIMAX unit.
2. Gently insert your Nano SIM card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the SIM card is oriented correctly as indicated on the device.

Step 3: Position Your AMPLIMAX

Proper positioning is crucial for maximizing signal reception and internet performance.

1. Muntar el AMPLIMAX unit outdoors on a pole or wall using the provided mounting kit.
2. Choose a location with minimal obstructions (e.g., buildings, trees) between the modem and the nearest cellular tower.
3. Orient the antenna for the best possible signal. You can use the signal strength indicators on the device or a mobile app to fine-tune the direction.

Step 4: Connect to Your Devices

El AMPLIMAX offers two primary ways to connect to your devices:

• Connexió directa: Connect the Ethernet cable from the PoE injector to your computer or laptop. Your device should automatically detect the internet connection.
• Connexió Wi-Fi: Connect the Ethernet cable from the PoE injector to the WAN/Internet port of a Wi-Fi router (router not included). Configure your Wi-Fi router according to its manufacturer's instructions to distribute the internet connection wirelessly to your devices.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

Un cop configurat, el AMPLIMAX operates automatically to provide internet access. Here are common usage scenarios:

• Primary Internet: For locations without traditional broadband, the AMPLIMAX can serve as your main internet connection.
• Failover Internet: In areas with existing internet, the AMPLIMAX can act as a backup, automatically switching to cellular data if your primary connection fails.
• Mobile & Remote Use: Its robust design and high-gain antenna make it suitable for RVs, boats, remote cabins, and temporary setups like construction sites or outdoor events.

5. Manteniment

El AMPLIMAX is designed for high durability and outdoor use, featuring water, dust, and UV ray protection. Minimal maintenance is required to ensure its longevity and optimal performance.

  • Check all cable connections (Ethernet, power) to ensure they are secure.
  • Cicle de potència AMPLIMAX unit by unplugging it from the power source for 30 seconds, then plugging it back in.
  • Use the 'Easy Install' / Blind Search feature to check signal strength. If the signal is weak, try adjusting the unit's position or orientation.
  • Confirm that your cellular carrier's network is operational in your area.
