- TYPE IC. Vapor barrier must be suitable for 90°C.

INSTALLATION
- Locate desired fixture location in ceiling grid.
- Remove existing ceiling panel at chosen location. Remove adjacent ceiling panel to allow for wiring access from above.
- Place fixture into T-bar ceiling grid. Bend clips on top of fixture up and rotate out to engage with T-bar support grid. See Figure 1. Secure fixture to grid in compliance with state and local codes.
- Remove the screw on the cover of the junction box and bring in appropriate power supply and dimming leads to the junction box using one of the knockouts on the junction box.
- Make wiring connections to the fixture per the Fixture Wiring section and push all leads into the junction box. Reattach junction box cover that was removed in STEP 4. Make sure no wires are pinched.
- Select the desired CCT and wattage using the dip switches on the top of the driver enclosure. See Figure 2.
- Replace adjacent ceiling panel removed in Step 2.

EMERGENCY DRIVER CHECK
NOTE: The emergency driver and AC driver must be fed from the same branch circuit.
NOTE: For short-term testing of the emergency function, the battery must be charged for at least one hour. The emergency driver must be charged for at least 24 hours before conducting a long-term test.
For manual testing press the test button to cut the power to the AC driver and switch the system to emergency mode. Release the test button to return to normal mode. Switch off the circuit breaker to simulate a full power outage.
REFER ANY SERVICING INDICATED BY THESE CHECKS TO QUALIFIED PERSONNEL. EMERGENCY DRIVER AND AC DRIVER MUST BE FED FROM THE SAME BRANCH CIRCUIT.

FIXTURE WIRING
NOTE: The emergency driver must be fed from the same branch circuit as the AC Driver.
STEP 1:
Make the following electrical connections:
- a. Connect the black fixture lead labeled AC-L Unswitched to the unswitched voltage supply lead.
- b. Connect the blue fixture lead labeled AC-LOUT Switched to the switched voltage supply lead.
- c. Connect white fixture lead labeled AC-N to the neutral supply lead (Hot 2 for 208/240V wiring).
- d. Connect ground green/yellow lead to the supply ground lead.
- e. If 0/1-10V Dimming is used, connect the violet lead labeled DIM+ to the supply positive dimming lead. Class 1 wiring methods must be used for dimming connections. If dimming is not being used, cap off the violet lead.
- f. If 0/1-10V Dimming is used, connect the pink lead labeled DIM- to the supply negative dimming lead. Class 1 wiring methods must be used for dimming connections. If dimming is not being used, cap off grey or pink lead.
STEP 2:
Make sure all state and local codes are followed as part of the wiring and installation of fixture.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Q: How do I know if the emergency driver needs charging?
A: Check the indicator light status. If it shows “Battery is Under Voltage” or “Battery is Discharging,” it needs to be charged.
