    Question

Why is my BuzzTV E2 Essential stuck in a boot loop where the logo appears and disappears repeatedly?

    Answer

The issue you are describing, where the BuzzTV logo (the "B" icon) appears and disappears repeatedly, is known as a boot loop. This often indicates a power supply issue or a system crash. Based on the troubleshooting guide for the BuzzTV E1/E2 series, please try the following steps:

    • Power Cycle: Disconnect the power supply from the back of the TV box. Wait at least 30 seconds, then reconnect it and try to power it on again.
    • Check Power Supply: Ensure the power adapter is properly connected to both the wall outlet and the TV box. If possible, try a different compatible power adapter to rule out a faulty power supply.
    • Check Connections: If the player LED is blinking while the screen is blank, the manual suggests checking your HDMI/HDTV connection or trying a different HDMI cable.
    • System Reset: If the device remains stuck, it may have suffered a system crash. Since the device cannot reach the menu, you may need to contact BuzzTV support for instructions on a manual factory reset or firmware recovery.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you can contact BuzzTV technical support at 1-866-928-9988 or email cs@buzztv.com.
