1. Uvod

It supports the Matter protocol, ensuring broad compatibility and enhanced security for your connected devices.

2. Podešavanje

2.1 Kontrolna lista prije instalacije

• Ensure your device is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi mreža. Matter devices do not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks.
• Potvrdite to Bluetooth je omogućen on your smartphone. Matter devices are configured via Bluetooth.
• Your smartphone must be running iOS 16.1 ili noviji, ili Android 8.1 ili noviji.

2.2 Initial Pairing with Apple Home

To add your Meross Matter Smart Plug to Apple Home:

2.3.1 Generating a Temporary Pairing Code (Example: from Apple Home)

1. U Apple Home aplikacija, go to the settings page of your Meross Smart Plug.
2. Pomaknite se prema dolje i dodirnite “Turn On Pairing Mode”.
3. A temporary pairing code will appear. Copy this code. This code is valid for approximately 3 minutes.

2.3.2 Adding to Amazon Alexa (using temporary code)

1. Otvorite Amazon Alexa aplikacija.
2. Dodirnite “+” symbol, zatim odaberite “Dodaj uređaj”.
3. Izaberi “Matter” sa liste tipova uređaja.
4. Dodirnite “Try Numeric Code Instead”, onda “Enter Code”.
5. Enter the temporary pairing code copied from the Apple Home app.

2.3.3 Adding to Google Home (using temporary code)

3.5 Praćenje energije

The Meross app provides real-time energy consumption data. You can view daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly electricity usage, helping you monitor and manage your energy expenses. This feature also supports monitoring photovoltaic solar panels.

3.6 Standby Power Killer

This advanced feature, available in the Meross app, automatically turns off devices when they enter standby mode, saving energy and enhancing safety. You can customize the power threshold for this function.

If the smart plug loses connection to the Wi-Fi network, it should automatically reconnect once the network is restored. If issues persist, try restarting your Wi-Fi router and the smart plug.

5.4 Matter Pairing Code Issues

Temporary pairing codes generated for Multi-Admin setup are valid for a limited time (approx. 3 minutes). If the code expires, generate a new one from the platform where the device was initially added.
