Product Usage Instructions

General Information:
The weather station comes with a main unit and a sensor. It can be operated with multiple remote sensors, each assigned to a different channel.

Setup:

Insert batteries into the main unit and sensor.
Place the sensor in the desired location for outdoor data collection.

Follow the channel selection instructions to ensure proper communication between the main unit and sensor.

Initial Setup:

Wait for the indoor temperature to be displayed on the main unit.
If no signal is received for the clock, set the time manually.

Establishing a Power Connection

Base Unit:

Insert the DC plug into the device’s connection socket.
Plug the power adapter into the socket.

The device will be powered directly.
Wait until the indoor temperature is displayed on the base station.
NOTE! For continuous operation, a mains power supply is recommended. Alternatively, battery power can be used to maintain the time setting in case of power failure (permanent backlight not active).
Proceed as follows:
Remove the battery compartment cover.

Insert batteries into the battery compartment.
Ensure that the battery polarity (+/-) is correct.
Replace the battery compartment cover.
Wait until the indoor temperature is displayed on the base station.

NOTE! After 7 seconds, the display will switch to power-saving mode when running on batteries.

When battery-operated, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to activate the display for approximately 7 seconds.

NOTE! When switching from mains to battery power or vice versa, the power supply will be temporarily interrupted for technical reasons.
Exception: permanent battery operation.

Wireless Sensor:

Remove the battery compartment cover.
Set the channel selector switch to the desired channel.

Insert batteries into the battery compartment.
Ensure that the battery polarity (+/-) is correct.
NOTE! This weather station can be used with one or more remote sensors. Each connected wireless sensor must be set to a different channel. If only one wireless sensor is connected, it should be set to channel 1.
Replace the battery compartment cover.

Time Setting
Once power is established, the device automatically searches for the radio signal. This process takes about 3–8 minutes.
If the radio signal is successfully received, the date and time are automatically set, and the reception symbol is displayed.
If no radio signal is received, proceed as follows:

Press and hold the button on the base unit for approximately 3 seconds to activate the radio signal reception. Reception will now be re-initialised.
If the radio signal is still not received, the time must be set manually.

Manual Time Setting:

Press and hold the button for approximately 3 seconds to enter the time setting mode.
The digits to be set will blink.
Press the or button to change the value.

Press the button to confirm and move to the next setting.
Order of settings: Time Zone > 12/24 Hour Format > Hour > Minute > Year > Day/Month// Month/Day > Month > Day > Language > °C/°F> HPA/inHg
Finally, press the button to save the settings and exit the setting mode.

In normal mode, press the button to check the year.

Alarm Setting

In normal mode, press the button, to check the alarm time.
While checking the alarm time, press the button again to turn the alarm on or off.

When entering the alarm mode, press and hold the button for about 3 seconds to enter the alarm setting mode. The digits to be set will blink. Press the or button to change the value. Press the button to confirm and move to the next setting. Order of settings: Hour > Minute
Finally, press the button to save the settings and exit the alarm setting mode.
When the alarm rings, press the button to activate the snooze function . The alarm sound will resume after 5 minutes.
When the alarm rings, press any other button to stop the alarm until the next scheduled alarm time.

Max.-/Min.- Value Recording for Temperature and Humidity

In normal mode, press the button to check the recorded maximum and minimum temperature and humidity.
While checking the Max/Min data, press and hold the button to clear the data.

Channel Selection

In normal mode, press the button to select Channel 1, Channel 2, Channel 3, or channel scan.

Press and hold the button for approximately 3 seconds to reset values and search for an RF signal.
NOTE! Always ensure that the selected channel on the display unit matches the channel option selected on the outdoor sensor.

Backlight
When powered via the power adapter, press the button to select the backlight level. The backlight can be set to three levels (low, medium, high).

When powered by batteries, press the button to activate the backlight for 7 seconds.

Temperature Alarm

In normal mode, press the button to check the HI/LOW temperature alarm.
While checking the alarm, press the “” or “” button to turn the temperature alarm on or off.

In normal mode, press and hold the button for about 3 seconds to enter the temperature alarm setting mode. Press the “” or “” button to adjust the temperature. Press the button to confirm and move to the next setting.
Order of settings: Highest Outdoor
Temperature > Lowest Outdoor Temperature > Highest Indoor Temperature > Lowest Indoor Temperature
Press the CH button to select the channel, then press and hold the button to set the temperature alarm for the correct channel.

An alarm will sound, and the temperature alarm symbol will flash until the temperature falls below or rises above the set value.

Frost Warning
If the outdoor temperature is between -1.0°C and +2.9°C, the frost warning symbol will appear on the display and blink continuously.

NOTE! The main unit can be connected to 3 outdoor sensors. If the temperature of one of the sensors is between -1.0~+2.9°C, the main unit will display the frost warning symbol . The symbol will stop blinking when the temperature rises above 3°C.

Temperature Trend

The temperature trend indicator shows the predicted weather change for the next few minutes.

The arrows indicate a rising, stable, or falling trend.
The barometer measures air pressure every 15 minutes. Based on this measurement, the main unit calculates the air pressure for the current hour (the average air pressure for now, 15 minutes ago, 30 minutes ago, and 45 minutes ago) and compares this value with the previous hour’s value. If the measured air pressure changes by more than 1 hPa, an upward (UP) or downward (DOWN) trend arrow is displayed.

A weather trend for the next 12–24 hours is calculated from the measured values and displayed graphically as follows:

Moon Phase
The moon phase depends on the current date.
It is calculated automatically, and the following symbols are displayed:

Barometer
Atmospheric pressure (referred to as “air pressure”) is the pressure exerted at any point on Earth by the weight of the air column above it. Air pressure is proportional to the average pressure and gradually decreases with altitude.
Meteorologists use barometers to measure air pressure. As the weather greatly depends on changes in air pressure, weather forecasts can be made based on measured air pressure changes.

The barometer cannot be adjusted. You can set the unit of air pressure. (See also manual time setting)

Day of the Week Display

Daylight Saving Time (DST)
The base station automatically switches to Daylight Saving Time when it begins.

Low Battery Indicator

If the battery level in the base station or wireless sensor reaches a critical value, the low battery symbol appears in the respective area on the display.

When replacing a set of batteries, always remove the batteries from the other device and reinsert new batteries in the correct order. Replace the batteries to be changed with a completely new set with full capacity. This ensures that the connection between the devices is correctly re-established.

Note: If batteries are full, no battery symbol is displayed.
