Usage & Setup
- Install Power: Connect the splitter to power using the provided DC cable before hooking up your cables.
- Connect Source: Plug a Toslink cable from your TV, CD/DVD/Blu‑ray player, game console (e.g. PS4, Xbox), or streaming device into the splitter’s input port
- Secure Fit: Ensure all optical connectors “click” fully to maintain light-tight seals.
- Power On: Switch on the power source and then turn on the source/output devices.
- Audio Source Settings: Ensure the source outputs compatible digital audio (5.1 AC‑3, DTS, or PCM). The TS201 passes through Dolby Digital/DTS formats, down‑mixing to stereo only if your equipment demands it.
- Troubleshooting: If an output isn’t working, check cable length, tightness, try swapping outputs. In rare cases of incompatibility with specific devices, BlueRigger offers a fully Active replacement free of charge.

- Connect Output Devices: Use cables shorter than 10 feet to connect your output devices such as headphones or a Soundbar. Ensure each cable clicks into the Toslink port of your output devices and the splitter for a secure connection.
