Introduction
High-quality mic preamps are used by the Blucoil USB Interface to deliver high headroom and pure 48V phantom power. It offers a resolution of 24 bit/ 48kHz. Both Windows and Mac can use the Blucoil Audio Interface, which is powered by the USB bus. With your laptop and microphone, you may record instantaneously anywhere without carrying an external power supply. The XLR-1/4″ combination input can be used to connect a condenser microphone, and the 1/4″ TRS input can be used to connect an instrument or line-level audio source. The interface also has main outputs for speakers or studio monitors. To view the input signals from your microphone, instrument, and interface, turn on Direct Monitor. Blucoil provides monitoring with no delay. A Clip and Signal Indicators are included with each input channel. Gain and Volume are available to you.
HOW TO SET USB TO AUDIO INPUT
Double-click the Sounds and Audio Devices icon located under or by choosing a Control Panel icon in the Sound, Speech, and Audio Devices window. Click the Audio tab in the Sounds and Audio Devices Properties box. Select USB Audio Device by selecting the down arrow next to Sound playback on the Audio tab.
HOW TO CONNECT TO STEREO SPEAKER
We believe that the simplest and best solution for attaching studio monitors to an audio interface is a pair of 1/4′′ balanced TRS cables. Connect your left speaker to the interface’s left output using one cable, and your right speaker to the interface’s right output using a different connection.

HOW TO PROTECT FROM PHANTOM POWER
Unplugging anything you aren’t using is the simplest way to eliminate phantom power. This extends to unplugging your phone or laptop charger rather than just unhooking the device when it isn’t charging. Phantom power is frequently created by leaving cords plugged in when they are not in use.
Frequently Asked Questions
Although it is absolutely safe to unplug the audio interface after using it, doing so after turning off the computer is advised to ensure that no software is still using the audio interface.
Using a stereo USB audio interface with an Android OS powered mobile phone, tablet, or Chromebook will improve the listening experience and give you control over the input levels for microphones when simple monitoring and streaming of mono or stereo audio with programs like Skype, Zoom, Google Meet, or Discord.
Since there aren’t any audio interfaces or mixers with USB audio inputs available right now, you can’t attach a USB microphone to them. Moreover, USB microphones only support digital inputs and outputs. There are XLR/USB microphones available that can be linked to a mixer that is connected to a computer using the XLR jack.
Audio interfaces transform instrument and microphone signals into a format that your computer and software can understand. The interface also sends audio from your PC to studio monitors and headphones.
An audio interface may also break or fail as a result of overheating. This is due to the possibility of some internal circuitry and components burning out or giving way when an audio interface becomes extremely hot.
Digital music can be sent from your computer to a digital to analogue converter using USB audio, a digital audio link (DAC). But why would you want to use this over alternative outputs? Allow us to educate you. Due to a computer’s inferior built-in DAC, USB audio is a popular choice among consumers.
Although you don’t strictly need one to record anything, you’ll need one to record high-quality, professional sound. This can contain voiceovers, instruments for recording, and other audio sources.
Some microphones, as we’ve already said, have USB outputs. A USB microphone will do if you only need to record one voice at a time, and you most likely won’t need an interface at all. Continue reading if you’re set on a microphone with an analogue output.
The best potential audio output is produced using audio interfaces. Of course, the effectiveness of the preamps and the interface’s analogue to digital conversion will determine how well this works. However, they perform more effectively than USB microphones in general.
For recording one sound source at a time, only a single input audio interface is required. Two inputs are needed for a single musician with two sources, such as guitar and vocals. A minimum of 8 is advised for a drum set. A full band needs a minimum of 8 people and up to 16 if they have a full drum kit.
The Blucoil Audio Interface does not include a 1/4″ to 3.5mm headphone adapter.
One preamp for each input! I think so.
It’s good so far in a bit surprised by the quality.
Yes, a 5-FT USB cable is included in the interface’s package.
Not sure I just plug it in select the right set up and you’re good to go I didn’t download anything.
