Safety
- Read the instructions and keep them for future reference. By following these safety instructions, you can use the device safely and pre-vent damage to the device or injury to persons.
- Before use, ensure that the package contains all parts listed in the technical specifications and that the device parts are intact. Do not use the appliance if any parts are missing or dam-aged.
- Do not attempt to repair the device parts your-self. Take the device to the retailer or an authorised service centre if any parts are faulty.
- Remove all protective plastics and stickers from the device.
- Use the appliance only in dry indoor environments at room temperature.
- Do not expose the appliance to water or other liquids.
- Do not expose the device to fire, direct sun-light, or other heat sources, excessive cold, or corrosive substances.
- The device can also be used by children over 8 years old and persons with physical or mental limitations, or persons without experience or knowledge of how to use the device, pro-vided they have been instructed on its safe use or are under appropriate supervision and understand the risks associated with it. Children should not play with the device. Children should not clean or maintain the device with-out supervision.
- The keyboard operates with two 1.5 V AAA batteries. The mouse operates on a single 1.5 V AA battery. The devices do not include batteries; they are sold separately.
- Do not short-circuit the batteries.
- If a child or pet swallows a battery, it can cause serious injury or death. A swallowed battery can also cause severe internal burns within two hours. Always store batteries out of the reach of children and pets.
- If you suspect that a person or pet has swallowed a battery, or if a battery has entered any body cavity, seek immediate medical attention.
- Check the polarity markings of the battery compartment before inserting the batteries. Always follow the polarity markings.
- If the battery leaks, remove the leaked substance from the battery compartment and replace all batteries with new ones.
- Do not attempt to recharge disposable batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries or accumulators.
- Replace all batteries every three months or whenever one of the batteries is depleted.
- Whenever you change the batteries, replace all of them with new ones. Do not mix old and new or different types of batteries.
- Remove the batteries from the appliance if it will not be used for a long time. Also, remove the batteries when storing the appliance.
- Remove the batteries from the appliance be-fore recycling it.
- Always recycle used batteries. Never burn batteries, as this can cause an explosion and serious injury.
- Tape both terminals of the battery before dis-posing of it for recycling to prevent short-circuiting.

How to use
Battery installation
The keyboard and mouse work wirelessly. Install the batteries in both the keyboard and mouse before use.
This is how you install the batteries in your keyboard:
- Open the keyboard battery compartment lid.
- If there are old batteries in the battery compartment, remove them before installing new ones.
- Install two AAA batteries into the battery compartment according to the polarity markings.
- Close the battery compartment lid. The lid clicks into place.
This is how you install the batteries in your mouse:
- Open the mouse battery compartment lid.
- If there are old batteries in the battery compartment, remove them before installing new ones.
- Install one AA battery into the battery compartment according to the polarity markings.
- If you use the mouse immediately after installing the batteries, disconnect the USB receiver from the battery compartment and turn the power switch to the ON position.
- Close the battery compartment lid. The lid clicks into place.
Note! Replace the keyboard batteries when the red indicator light on the keyboard flashes. Also, replace the mouse battery at the latest when the battery is empty.
Connection
The keyboard and mouse use a 2.4 GHz wireless connection. You need a USB receiver to make the connection. The receiver is located under the lid of the mouse battery compartment. Both the key-board and mouse use the same USB receiver.
This is how you connect to your computer:
- Remove the USB receiver from under the mouse battery compartment cover and turn the mouse power switch to the ON position.
- Plug the USB receiver into the USB-A port on your computer.
- The receiver automatically connects to the keyboard and mouse. You don’t need to install separate drivers.
- The keyboard’s green indicator light is on when the keyboard is connected to the computer wirelessly.
Hotkeys
The keys on the top row of the keyboard have shortcuts that allow you to control the settings and functions of your computer. Press and hold the Fn key while pressing one of the keys in the top row to make the shortcuts work. See the hotkeys in the table on the next page.
Maintenance, storage and recycling
Clean the device with a soft dry cloth. Do not use other cleaning tools, detergents or sharp objects.
- Store the device only in dry indoor environments at room temperature.
- Store the device in its original package if you do not use it regularly.
- Safe disposal of the product: The device or its accessories must not be disposed of with regular household waste at the end of their life cycle. Take the device for recycling to the retailer or a local waste disposal facility responsible for recycling. For more information, contact your retailer or waste management company.
