BG Smart Sockets just got Smarter!
Now with a new parental lock function, you can disable your shared smart socket, limiting control via the Smart App, and with Siri shortcuts, you can now voice activate your smart socket through your iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. The IFTTT integration now allows you to activate sockets based on geo-location, weather, and the actions of other smart home devices.

Home Automation


Timers Set up timers so your device will turn on and off at specific times. Get our morning coffee ready or hence get on the morning and have energy by turning pockets off whilst you’re not at home.	Set a Delay Ideal for sockets and adaptors where you plug-in devices like hair straighteners for added safety, and charge your mobile device for a set amount of time so this turns off once it has reached a full charge.	Create Scenes Add different scenes to suit your lifestyle. Turn multiple sockets and adaptors on or off together without having to operate them all independently.	Random Function Operate sockets randomly to mimic home occupancy for additional security. Set a time period to run random operations and toggles and off when required.

Keeping you in control


Parental Lock De-activate the faceplate buttons so these cannot be turned on or off at the wall, and prevent others from turning devices on or off, changing any of your settings within the pp.	Share Control Invite other members of your household to share control of sockets within the App, whilst protecting our key settings with the parental lock.	Manage Homes Create multiple homes to manage devices in more than one property, and switch between different properties for easy device management.	Custom Notiﬁcations Add a custom notification so you know if a device has gone offline, and be aware of the status of your device at all times.

Siri Shortcuts iOS users can now operate devices with Siri on their iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch. Set your own custom phrase to operate individual devices or pre-configured scenes et up in the BG Home App.	IFTTT Connect all of your different smart Apps and devices for a truly integrated smart home. Use geolocation and weather services and synchronize actions with smart devices.	Amazon Alexa With the Amazon Alexa BG Home skill, you can name your sockets and ask Alexa to turn your devices on or off using your voice.	Google Assistant With the Google Assistant BG Home skill, you can name your sockets and ask Google to turn your devices on or off using your voice.
