Installation Steps:
- Remove the tailgate trim panels and install the left body
bracket. - Remove the trunk trim panels and install the right body
bracket. - Remove indicated trim panels, install left tailgate bracket,
and remove left and right springs from the trunk. - Remove spring hangers from hinges, install left body bracket on
the left side of the trunk, and install right tailgate
bracket. - Install left electric strut, then right electric strut on
respective sides. - Install right body bracket on the left side of the trunk, left
tailgate bracket on left hinge, and right tailgate bracket on right
hinge. - Hang back left and right springs, and route lock signal harness
to the right side of the trunk.
