WDC15T: This product complies with EU requirements regarding restriction of exposure of persons to radio-frequency energy (RF) emitted by telecommunication and radio devices as it is designed and manufactured in such a way as not to exceed the exposure limits indicated by the European Union Commission. The permitted SAR limit for the general population is 2.0 W/Kg. This limit guarantees an ample safety margin that protects all persons regardless of age and health condition.
The measured SAR value is 0.537 W/kg
WDC15R: The minimum distance between the user and/or any bystander and the radiating structure of the transmitter is 20 cm.

India RoHS
Restriction on Hazardous Substances statement (India)
This product complies with the “India” E-waste Rule 2016” and prohibits use of lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls or Poly Brominated Diphenyl Ethers in concentrations exceeding 0.1 weight% and 0.01 weight for cadmium except for exemptions set in Schedule 2 of the Rule.
For UK only
- The mains lead (power cable) on the equipment comes with a moulded plug incorporating a fuse.
- The rating of the fuse is indicated on the pin face of the plug and, if it requires replacing, a fuse approved by ASTA or BSI to BS 1362 of the same rating must be used.
- If the plug has a detachable fuse cover, remember to place the fuse cover back if you need to change the fuse.
Do NOT use a plug without the fuse cover. If the fuse cover is missing, contact your nearest BenQ Customer Service Center for assistance.

This device meets the government’s requirements for exposure to radio waves. This device is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal Communications Commission of the U.S. Government. End-users and installers must be provide with antenna installation instructions and transmitter operating conditions for satisfying RF exposure compliance. |

FCC SAR
This equipment should be installed and operated with minimum distance 5mm between the radiator & your body.
SAR compliance has been established in typical laptop computer(s) with USB slot, and product could be used in typical laptop computer with USB slot. Other application like handheld PC or similar device has not been verified and may not compliance with related RF exposure rule and such use shall be prohibited.
The USB dongle transmitter is approved for use in typical laptop computers. To comply with FCC RF exposure requirements, it should not be used in other devices or certain laptop and tablet computer configurations where the USB connectors on the host computer are unable to provide or ensure the necessary operating configurations intended for the device and its users or bystanders to satisfy RF exposure compliance requirements.

The maximum antenna gain permitted for devices in the band 5725-5850 MHz shall be such that the equipment still complies with the e.i.r.p. limits specified for point-to-point and nonpoint-to-point operation as appropriate
Exposure of humans to RF fields (RSS-102)
The computers employ low gain integral antennas that do not emit RF field in excess of Health Canada limits for the general population; consult Safety Code 6, obtainable from Health Canada’s Web site at http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/
The radiated energy from the antennas connected to the wireless adapters conforms to the IC limit of the RF exposure requirement regarding IC RSS-102, Issue 5 clause 4. SAR tests are conducted using recommended operating positions
accepted by the FCC/ RSS with the device transmitting at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency band without distance attaching away from the body.
Non-compliance with the above restrictions may result in violation of FCC RF exposure guidelines.
