Installation Process:
- Download and install Microsoft .NET 8 Desktop Runtime 8.x.x: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/8.0
Important: From the .NET Desktop Runtime 8.x.x section choose specifically the x64 variant - Download and lnstall Microsoft Visual C++ x64 re-distributable: https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe
- Run the installer included in this distribution
- Launch the app from the desktop shortcut or the icon in the start menu
Installing on Mac OS
System Requirements:

Note: Any Mac supported by macOS 10.15 Catalina is compatible with AzureSpot Pro.
Installation Process:
- Download and install Microsoft .NET 8 Runtime 8.x.x:

Important: From the .NET Runtime 8.x.x section under the Installers column, choose the Arm64 (if you have an M1-M3 processor in Mac) or choose x64 (if you had Intel processor) - Drag AzureSpot Pro icon into your Applications folder
- Launch the app from the Applications folder or LaunchPad
Licensing
This following instruction applies to both macOS and Windows. In the following guides, when we’ll instruct to “launch the Configure License tool”, please follow these two steps:
- Launch AzureSpot Pro
- From the Home screen, click on Configure License
To run the app, you must provide your activation key and allow the system to perform a one-time activation from our license server:
- Launch the Configure License tool
- Enter your activation key into the Acquire License field and click Acquire
- Close the Configure License window
Delegated Licensing
License activation requires an active internet connection. lf this was not available on the target PC, then you may use a fallback where another machine that does have active internet access can process the activation request as a proxy. Leťs call the target offline computer as PC1 and the support online computer PC2.
START ON PC1:
- Launch the Configure License tool
- Enter your activation key into the Activation ID field
- Check the Delegate box
- Click Acquire
- Save the request file to your desktop
- Move the request file somehow to PC2 (e.g. USB drive)
MOVE TO PC2:
- Install AzureSpot Pro (note: AzureSpot Pro can be uninstalled fom the 2nd machine after this process is complete and it will not require nor consume a license)
- Launch the Configure License tool
- Click Browse in the Delegated Activation section
- Select the activation request file from PC1
- Click Process
- Notice a new file, the response file, is generated alongside the request file
- Move the response file somehow back to PC1 (e.g. USB drive)
- You may uninstall the AzureSpot Pro from PC2 (if necessary)
BACK ON PC1:
- Launch the Configure License tool
- Click Browse in the Delegated Activation section
- Locate and open the processed response file
- Click Integrate
- Close the Configure License window
