Short instructions for the AVILOO FLASH Test – test the drive battery in 3 simple steps
CAUTION:
Make sure the vehicle is not charging.
FLASH TEST SET-UP
- Open the driver’s door (leave it open during the test).
- VW, Skoda, Cupra and Seat Models: unlock the hood before plugging in the AVILOO Box (it is not necessary to open it).
- Plug the AVILOO Box into the OBD-2-port.
- Start the vehicle and leave the vehicle in park mode so that the systems necessary for the test remain active.
- Turn off the heating and air conditioning.
- TIP: The AVILOO WebAPP helps you locate the OBD-2-port in the vehicle.
PERFORM FLASH TEST
- Wait for the yellow flashing one LED indicating that the AVILOO Box is ready for the Flash Test.
- Fasten the driver’s seatbelt to keep the systems necessary for the test active.
- Note for all Tesla Models: switch the vehicle to drive mode and keep your foot on the brake to prevent the vehicle from moving (due to the lack of an “ignition”).
- Wait for the solid green LED, which indicates that the FLASH Test is complete.
END OF FLASH TEST
- Turn off the vehicle.
- Unbuckle the seat belt.
- Unplug the AVILOO Box.
- Close the driver’s door and, if necessary, the hood.
- The AVILOO FLASH Test Report is sent by email to the email address stored for this AVILOO Box.
Please note:
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by Aviloo could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment. This is a mobile device and the user must ensure that they maintain a distance of 20 cm during operation.
AVILOO BOX LED-DISPLAY
Flashing blue: indicates that the box is booting up
Yellow light: test in progress.
If red lights up: FLASH Test failed (see notes at bottom right).
Flashing green: data transfer.
Greenlight: Test completed.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- To keep the software up to date, leave the box plugged into the power supply when not in use.
- Red LED means: FLASH Test failed.
Take the following measures:
- Check at https://aviloo.link/database whether the vehicle can be tested.
- Repeat the FLASH Test according to the instructions.
- Contact AVILOO Customer Support.
