General safety rules

• Always keep this user manual with the machine.
• Before using this product, read all the operational instructions in this manual. Failure to follow them may result in electric shock and irritation to skin and eyes.
• Each user is responsible for installing and using the equipment according to this user manual. The supplier is not responsible for damage caused by improper use and operation.
• This equipment must only be operated by trained and qualified personnel. Do not operate it under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication.
• This machine is developed for specific applications. The supplier points out that any modification and/or use for any unintended purposes is strictly prohibited.

Handling

Used/damaged equipment must not be disposed of in household waste but must be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. Use designated electrical equipment collection points. Used and recovered walnut sand should be handled as hazardous waste, for example, at pollutant transfer stations.

Electrical safety rules

• This is a Class I equipment that must only be powered through a power socket with a protective grounding conductor. This connection must not be interrupted at any point (e.g., through extension cords). Any interrup-tion or disconnection of the protective conductor may result in electric shock. Therefore, ensure the equipment/housing is correctly grounded in advance.
• Do not twist or severely bend the power cord. It may damage the internal wires. If the power cord shows signs of damage, do not use the walnut sand decarbon cleaner. Damaged cables pose a risk of electric shock. Keep the power cord away from heat sources, oil sources, sharp edges, and moving parts. Damaged power cords must be replaced by the manufacturer, its technician, or similarly qualified personnel to prevent dangerous situations or injuries.

Equipment safety rules

• Never leave the equipment unattended when it is powered on. Always turn off the equipment at the main switch and disconnect the power cord when not in use for its intended purpose!
• Do not attempt to repair the equipment yourself.
• Before connecting it to power, check that the socket voltage and fuse ratings match the values on the name-plate. Mismatch may cause serious hazards and equip-ment damage.
• It is essential to protect the equipment from rainwater, moisture, mechanical damage, overload, and rough handling.

Application

• Check the power cord, plug connections, and adapters for damage before use. If any damage is found, do not operate the equipment.

Personnel protection  safety rules 

• Do not touch live conductors with a voltage exceeding 30V AC RMS, 42V AC peak, or 60V DC.
• Do not connect hazardous live conductors in a damp environ-ment.
• Wear personal protective equipment (such as approved rubber gloves, face shields, and flame-resistant clothing) to prevent injury from electric shock and arc flash when hazardous live conductors are exposed.
• Always ensure you have a stable footing to safely control equipment in case of emergencies.

Any other use is considered as exceeding the intended purpose of the equipment and is prohibited.

CAUTIONS

Warning

• Up to 1000V voltage will be generated during test, please close the protective cover before testing!
• Do not pull out or insert the spark plug with the power supply connected. If you want to insert or pull it out, please turn off the power first.

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Car spark plug test principle

• In automobile ignition system, the high-voltage ignition coil generates a high-voltage, and the spark plug diverts it form hightension ignition coil into the cylinder engine, spark between the spark plug electrodes will ignite the mixture, The detector could tell the good spark plugs from the bad by the strength of the spark.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Instruction

• Place the spark plug into tester socket (A) or (B).
• Close the protective cover, plug the power adapter into the side power interface (G), connect the power.
• Turn the switch (F) clockwise to power on tester, indicator (E) will light up green.
• Continue to turn the switch (F) clockwise, you can adjust the working frequency between 1000rpm to 6000rpm/min, The higher the frequency is set, the stronger the spark strength is.

MAINTENANCE SERVICE

Maintenance
To maintain the performance and appearance of the product, it is recom-mended that the following product care guidelines be read carefully：

• Be careful not to rub the product against rough surfaces or wear the product, especially the sheet metal housing.
• Please regularly check the product parts that need to be tightened and connected. If found loose, please tighten it in time to ensure the safe operation of the equipment. The external and internal parts of the equipment in contact with various chemical media should be frequently treated with anti-corrosion treatment such as rust removal and painting to improve the corrosion resistance of the equipment and extend its service life.
• Comply with the safe operating procedures and do not overload the equipment. The safety guards of the products are complete and reliable.
• Unsafe factors are to be eliminated in time. The circuit part should be checked thoroughly and the aging wires should be replaced in time. Adjust the clearance of various parts and replace worn (broken) parts. Avoid contact with corrosive liquids.
• When not in use, please store the product in a dry place. Do not store the product in hot, humid, or non-ventilated places.

WARRANTY

• From the date of receipt, we provide a three-year warranty for the main unit and all the accessories included are covered by a one-year warranty.

• It is guaranteed that AUTOOL will use brand new component, accessory or device in terms of repair or replacement.
• If the product fails within 90 days after the customer receives it, the buyer should provide both video and picture, and we will bear the shipping cost and provide the accessories for the customer to replace it free of charge. While the product is received for more than 90 days, the customer will bear the appropriate cost and we will provide the parts to the customer for replacement free of charge.

These conditions below shall not be in warranty range

• The product is not purchased through official or authorized channels.
• The product breakdown because the user does not follow product instructions to use or maintain the product.

NOTE

• When switching between expert mode and standard mode, please turn off the two sets of switches first, and then turn on the corresponding mode switch. Otherwise, the power switch will trip for protection, at this time, it is necessary to turn off all switches and then re-close.

OPERATIONS INSTRUCTION

Preparation before use

• Open the outer package and check whether any parts are damaged.
• Pull the rod upwards, then open the metal latches on both sides of the main unit, and open the accessory box outwards.Take out the accessories and lock the accessories box. Install the components according to the following steps.
  1. Connect the end of the recovery particle hose with tendon sheath to the main unit, clamp the tendon sheath and confirm that it is locked.
  2. Determine the fitting connector (metal connector or yellow silicone connector) of the engine air intake.
  3. Connect the other end of the recovery pipe to the black transit-bend. Use a large bend when a metal model adapter is required, and a small bend when a yellow silicone model adapter is required.
  4. Open the top cover of the main unit, rotate the handle of the filter cartridge counterclockwise, take out the filter cartridge, and check whether the filter screen at the bottom is flat and does not roll over.
  5. The walnut sand is added into the sand storage bucket from the middle of the filler (It is recommended to add more than 2 kg of walnut abrasive).
  6. Reset the filter cartridge and turn it clockwise until it is locked.
  7. Reset the top cover of the main unit and cover it.
  8. After moving the main unit to the using site, connect an external compressed air source of not less than 0.7MPa to the main unit.
  9. Wear goggles to prevent splashes from hurting eyes.
  10. Connect the power cord to the external power supply (110V 50-60Hz voltage is connected to the US standard plug, and 220V 50-60Hz voltage is connected to the European standard or national standard plug). For detailed  requirements, please check the identification at the connector.
  11. Connect the engine adapter to the black silicone hose elbow and align it with the vehicle parts to be cleaned.
  12. Turn on the standard mode switch of the host, and the device starts to run. Professionals can turn on the expert mode. One of the two sets of switches needs to be turned off to turn on the other,otherwise the air switch will be protected.
  13. Insert the sandblasting gun from the injection port of the black silicone bend on the recovery pipe, and pull the switch of the sandblasting gun to start the carbon removal procedure. To clean different work pieces in different occasions, please adjust the throttle valve at the bottom of the sand-blasting gun according to the actual situation to ensure that the spraying speed is in the best state.

Note
In case of no sand blasting, the sand outlet can be blocked with cotton cloth, and the blocked foreign objects in the pipe can be blown back into the sand storage bucket by opening the air supply switch of the sandblasting gun.
