Place sticker with PIN on back of operator.

OPEN THE PACKAGING

STEP ONE
ACTIVATE: The CODING mode on the door operator by;
automatic TECHNOLOGY KPX-7AM Wireless Keypad - CODING modePress the MODE button to light the CODE LED. Press & HOLD STOP button and go to STEP 2.
OR automatic TECHNOLOGY KPX-7AM Wireless Keypad - door operatorPress and HOLD the DOOR CODE button and go to STEP 2.

CODE IN THE KEYPAD

STEP TWOautomatic TECHNOLOGY KPX-7AM Wireless Keypad - KEYPAD

The garage door opener will indicate that CODING has been completed.

CREATE YOUR OWN PIN

STEP THREE
automatic TECHNOLOGY KPX-7AM Wireless Keypad - symbol This is an optional step, which allows you to use a new pin for full access to all channels / devices, instead of the factory pin. automatic TECHNOLOGY KPX-7AM Wireless Keypad - symbol 1YOUR PIN + Channel button will now operate the keypad instead of FACTORY PIN.
Keep the FACTORY PIN in a safe place as this is required to FACTORY RESET the keypad.

CONTROLLING THE GARAGE DOOR

STEP FOURautomatic TECHNOLOGY KPX-7AM Wireless Keypad - GARAGE DOOR

Enter 1234 (pin), then press and hold button 5 (channel)
Pressing the channel button (1-8) again within 10 seconds will control the garage door again.

ADDING ADDITIONAL PINS

Up to 29 additional PINs can be addedautomatic TECHNOLOGY KPX-7AM Wireless Keypad - ADDITIONAL PINSautomatic TECHNOLOGY KPX-7AM Wireless Keypad - symbol Three long beeps after pressing button 2, indicates memory is full.
The Keypad will give a long beep to indicate the PIN has been accepted.
The new PIN can now operate the door.

PIN FOR A RESTRICTED ACCESS USER

automatic TECHNOLOGY KPX-7AM Wireless Keypad - symbol These instructions allow a user to only have access to speciic device transmit buttons (1 – 8). For example, Button 1 = Garage 1, Button 2 = Garage 2.automatic TECHNOLOGY KPX-7AM Wireless Keypad - programmedautomatic TECHNOLOGY KPX-7AM Wireless Keypad - symbol Three long beeps after pressing button 3, indicates memory is full.
The new PIN can be used to operate the keypad using the selected programmed buttons for the selected number of entries

DELETING A PIN

automatic TECHNOLOGY KPX-7AM Wireless Keypad - DELETING A PINNOTE: If the last PIN in the memory is deleted then the keypad is factory reset.
Refer to CREATE YOUR OWN PIN to start again.

FACTORY RESET

automatic TECHNOLOGY KPX-7AM Wireless Keypad - FACTORY RESETThe FACTORY PIN is now the only access to Keypad.
The Keypad will still be CODED to the devices that were coded to Keypad.
