Product Usage Instructions
Powering On
Ensure the fader is off or muted before powering on the OC818
microphone. Connect it to a power source that provides P48 (V) and
allow it to stabilize for at least 5 seconds.
Polar Patterns
The OC818 microphone supports multiple polar patterns including
Figure-8, (Dual-) Cardioid Preset / OCR8, Hypercardioid, and
Omnidirectional. Select the appropriate pattern based on your
recording needs.
High-pass Filters and Pads
Adjust the high-pass filters to cut frequencies below 40 Hz, 80
Hz, or 160 Hz as needed. Use the pads to attenuate the signal by
-10dB or -20dB if required.
