How to Use

Adjustment method

• Chuck rotation direction
• The chuck can also be rotated 180° by the thumb screw at the bottom
• When engraving at an angle, adjust the engraving position by rotating the knob on the side, the maximum angle is 30°

Regular mode

The “C” support component consists of the “K and “B” components. The assembly method is shown in the diagram below.

Extended mode
After loosening the thumb screw counterclockwise, the base can be extended and lengthened. You can control the length according to your needs, and then tighten the thumb screw.

Shorten Mode
Loosen the thumb screw on the base, remove the extension plate. Install the rear support on the base, and position it according to the required length, then tighten the thumb screw.

Levelling

Important Notes:

1. When engraving curved surfaces, measure the diameter or circumference of the actual engraving area. For irregular cylindrical objects, take the average measurement from the left, center, and right.
2. Ensure the engraving object stays level throughout the engraving process.
3. When removing a spherical object, loosen the grippers first, then move the support as needed.

Connection Method

USB cable connection
compatible models: P1, L 1, K60 (Hurricane) , K2 (Kraft) Insert one end of the USB cable into the “Accessory Interface” port on the engraver body, and the other end into the “USB port” on the Chuck.

4-Pin Adapter Cable + 6-Pin Motor cable
compatible models: A6 PRO, A12 PRO, A24 PRO, A48 PRO, A12 ULTRA, A24 ULTRA, A48 ULTRA, X12 PRO, X24 PRO, X48 PRO, X12 ULTRA, X24 ULTRA, X48 ULTRA

1. Locate the “Y-INTERFACE” port on the machine, insert the 4-pin adapter cable, and connect the other end to the 6-pin motor cable.
2. Disconnect the original motor cable from Chuck, and plug the 6-pin motor cable into the motor port.
3. After connecting the cables, Slide the Y-axis mode selector down to Accessory Mode”.

6-Pin Motor cable

1. Locate the Y-axis motor port on the machine, disconnect the Y-axis cable, and connect the 6-pin motor cable to the original Y-axis cable.
2. Disconnect the original motor cable from Chuck, and plug the 6-pin motor cable into the motor port.

Software Settings

Atom Stack Studio Setup and Usage

1. After connecting the machine and Chuck accessory, Click on the device information at the top right corner, and select “Cylindrical” from the pop-up window.
2. Click on “Chuck” to select the roller model (some models can automatically detect the model), then click OK.
3. Set the diameter or circumference of the engraving object, click ‘OK’. (Enable “Mirror output when the engraving output is reversed)

Light Burn software Setup and Usage

1. After connecting the machine and roller accessory: Turn on “Enable rotary” on main window, Click “Settings” on toolbar, Enable “Show rotary enable on main window,” then Click “OK”.
2. Click “Laser Tools”, Go to “Rotary setup” window;
3. Set the parameters properly in Rotary setup window, shown in the figure:
   1. Rotary Type : Chuck
   2. Enable “Enable Rotary”
   3. Enable “Mirror output to rotary” when the engraving output is reversed
   4. Rotary Axis : Y Axis
   5. Enter a fixed value: 160mm per rotation
   6. Enter the measured value: object Diameter or Circumference

Light Burn software Setup and Usage

1. Set the Y-axis motor step length
   1. Refer to the model categories in the table to set the Y-axis motor step length
2. Click on “Edit” in the menu bar, select “Machine Settings” from the drop-down menu, and modify the parameter: Y Steps per mm($101) , changing “100” to “80”
3. Use the “Current Position” as the starting point, set the parameters, perform boundary tracing, and then begin engraving

Note: When switching to flat processing, the value of “80” needs to be changed back to “100.”
