Product Usage Instructions
1. Mounting Instructions
To mount the ECOM Loc-Ex 01, follow these steps:
2.1 Mounting the Beacon
- Use the supplied drilling template DOCT-7028 to mark the drill
holes. - Insert the beacon in the direction of the arrow shown in Fig.
1. - Slide the beacon downwards until the catch engages (refer to
Fig. 2). - For additional security, insert a locking screw (not supplied)
into the designated hole.
2.2 Mounting the Mounting Plate
- Only use the manufacturer-approved mounting plate MP L01.
- Fix the mounting plate to a suitable surface (wall/pipe) using
the drilling template DOCT-7028 for hole marking.
3. Cleaning, Maintenance, and Storage
Refer to the separate safety instructions provided for detailed
guidelines on cleaning, maintenance, and storage of the
product.
4. Warranty and Liability
The warranty for the ECOM Loc-Ex 01 follows the General Terms
& Conditions of Delivery & Payment of ECOM Instruments

After installing the mounting plate the beacon can be inserted as follows:

3. Cleaning, maintenance and storage · Only clean the device and the plate by using a damp cloth. Do not use any solvents
or abrasive cleaning agents when cleaning. · For additional maintenance and storage instructions for the beacon, please refer
to the separate safety instructions.
