5. Operation
Follow these steps to make delicious popcorn:
- Prepare the Kettle: Ensure the kettle is securely attached inside the machine.
- Preheat: Close the main doors. Turn on the "Kettle Heater" switch and the "Stirrer" switch. Allow the kettle to preheat for 2-3 minutes.
- Add Ingredients:
- Using the oil measuring spoon, add the recommended amount of popcorn oil (e.g., coconut oil) to the preheated kettle.
- Immediately add the desired amount of popcorn kernels using the corn measuring spoon. Do not overfill the kettle.
- Popping Process: Close the kettle lid and the main doors. The stirrer will rotate, ensuring even popping. Popcorn will begin to pop and fall out of the kettle into the warming deck below.
- Monitor: Listen for the popping to slow down significantly. Once popping has almost stopped (typically 10-15 seconds between pops), turn off the "Kettle Heater" switch to prevent burning. The stirrer can remain on briefly to clear any remaining kernels.
- Serve: Carefully open the main doors. Use the provided popcorn scoop to serve the fresh popcorn. Be cautious of hot steam and surfaces.
- Keep Warm: The "Warming Deck" switch can be kept on to keep the popcorn warm. The interior light will also remain on.
- After Use: When finished, turn off all switches and unplug the machine. Allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your popcorn machine.
- Safety First: Always unplug the machine from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely (at least 1 hour) before cleaning.
- Remove Kettle:
- Carefully unhook the kettle from its mounting brackets and unplug its power cord.

- Clean Crumb Tray: Slide out the crumb tray from the bottom of the machine. Empty any unpopped kernels or debris. Wash with warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry.
- Clean Interior: Wipe down the interior surfaces, including the warming deck and glass panels, with a damp cloth. For stubborn oil residue, use a mild, food-safe degreaser. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Clean Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth.
- Reassemble: Once all parts are dry, reassemble the kettle and place the crumb tray back into position.
