Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Energizer X400 bike lights, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Wipe the lights with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the casing or lens.
  • Water Resistance: The lights are IPX4 water-resistant, meaning they are protected against splashing water from any direction. They are not designed for submersion. Always ensure the USB port cover is securely closed to maintain water resistance, especially before riding in wet conditions.
  • Storage: Store the lights in a cool, dry place when not in use. For long-term storage, charge the batteries periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months) to prevent deep discharge, which can reduce battery life.
  • Battery Care: Recharge the lights when the battery indicator shows low power. Avoid completely draining the battery frequently, as this can reduce overall battery lifespan.
