4. Operation
4.1 Display Modes and Data
The X95 offers various display modes to show different combinations of data. You can switch between these modes with a single touch. The device provides real-time information such as:
- GPS Speed (km/h or mph)
- Altitude
- Pitch Angle (front-rear)
- Roll Angle (left-right)
- Driving Direction (Compass)
- Number of Satellites & Signal Strength
- UTC Time & Day
- Total Mileage & Segment Distance
- Latitude & Longitude

4.2 Menu Settings
Access the menu to customize settings such as:
- Speed Unit: Switch between km/h and mph.
- Speed Alert Limit: Set your desired overspeed threshold.
- Speed Correction: Adjust for minor discrepancies.
- Sound: Toggle warning sounds on or off.
- System Time: Set the device's internal clock.
4.3 Inclinometer Function
The integrated inclinometer provides real-time pitch and roll angles:
- Pitch Angle (Front-Rear): Displayed on the left dial. A reading above +3 degrees indicates the vehicle's front is rising. A reading below -3 degrees indicates the front is descending or heavy braking is applied.
- Roll Angle (Left-Right): Displayed on the right dial. If the left tilt exceeds +3 degrees or the right tilt falls below -3 degrees, a vehicle icon on the display will visually represent the tilt. This feature is particularly useful for off-road driving, navigating steep inclines, sharp curves, or uneven terrain.

5. Warning Systems
The X95 is equipped with two primary warning systems to enhance driving safety:
- Fatigue Driving Warning: The device will issue an alert during prolonged periods of continuous driving, reminding the driver to take a break. This is especially beneficial for long-distance journeys.
- Overspeed Alert: When your vehicle exceeds the preset speed limit, an alert icon will appear on the screen. If the sound setting is enabled, an audible warning will also sound. This helps prevent accidental speeding.
Additionally, the device may provide vibration alerts and automatically activates upon vehicle ignition.

6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your OBEST X95, follow these general maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device's screen and body. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the surface.
- Environmental Conditions: While designed for automotive use, avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures outside its operating range (-20°C to 75°C) for extended periods. Protect it from direct water exposure.
- Cable Management: Ensure the power cable is not pinched or damaged. Secure it properly to prevent interference with driving controls.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your OBEST X95, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Device does not power on:
- Check if the power cable is securely connected to the 12V cigarette lighter socket.
- Ensure the vehicle's ignition is on.
- Verify that the vehicle's 12V socket is functioning correctly.
- No GPS signal or inaccurate data:
- Ensure the device has a clear view of the sky. Tall buildings, tunnels, or dense foliage can obstruct GPS signals.
- Allow a few minutes for the device to acquire satellites after startup.
- Move the vehicle to an open area if signal acquisition is consistently poor.
- Inclinometer readings seem incorrect:
- Ensure the device is mounted on a flat, stable surface on the dashboard.
- The inclinometer may require a few moments to calibrate after startup or significant movement.
- Warning sounds are not working:
- Check the sound settings in the device's menu to ensure warning sounds are enabled.
If problems persist, please contact customer support.
