Product Overview

The Weuaste MT92A is a 6.25-inch HD IPS touchscreen display designed for motorcycles, offering wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, and HiCar compatibility. It features a 1000 Nits daylight-visible display, IP67 waterproof rating, and multiple mounting options with an anti-theft metal bracket.

Setup and Installation

The Weuaste MT92A offers versatile mounting and wiring options to suit various motorcycle configurations. Ensure the motorcycle is turned off before beginning installation.

Mounting Options

The system includes three universal mounting options: U-bolt clamp for handlebars, side bracket for brake/clutch reservoir, and mirror stem mount. All connect to a 1-inch ball joint system.

1. U-shaped Extension Rod Bracket Installation (Handlebar Mount)

1. Use the special screwdriver to install the bracket on the handlebar.
2. Clamp the connecting rod to the mount.
3. Insert the device and adjust its position as desired. Tighten the adjustment ring to secure.
4. Installation is complete.

2. Brake/Clutch Reservoir Mount Installation

1. Remove the screws from the petcock pump (brake/clutch reservoir).
2. Attach the oil bottle bracket to the oil bottle pump and secure it with the screws.
3. Connect the bracket to the monitor.

3. Rearview Mirror Bracket Installation

1. Screw out the rearview mirror first.
2. Attach the mirror bracket to the rearview mirror and secure it.
3. Connect the bracket to the monitor.

Anti-Theft Metal Bracket

The anti-theft metal bracket secures the display with a locking aluminum clamp design, preventing quick removal. The alloy bracket wraps around the device body and locks with a hex key.

Wiring Method

Before installation, use the included USB power cable to connect the host to a 5V power supply for testing. Ensure all accessories are connected before powering on the motorcycle.

Method 1: Connect to Step-Down Line (ACC Power)

1. Set the multimeter to DC voltage position. Connect the black test lead to the negative pole of the battery and the red test lead to the test line.
2. When the ACC position is OFF, there should be no output and no display on the multimeter. When the ACC position is ON, the multimeter should display 12V voltage. This indicates the ACC power line has been found.
3. If the ACC line is not found, repeatedly change the test line (keeping the black test lead connected to the negative pole unchanged) until the ACC power line is found.

Method 2: Connect USB Power Cable

The USB power cable can be directly plugged into the motorcycle's USB power supply. The USB interface must meet the voltage requirements (5V1A-2A). If the device does not start after connecting, please check the USB interface voltage.

Operating Instructions

The Weuaste MT92A provides seamless integration with your smartphone for navigation, music, and communication.

Smartphone Connection (CarPlay, Android Auto, HiCar)

Connect your smartphone wirelessly via dual Bluetooth + 5G WiFi to mirror your favorite apps.

1. Step 1: Search and pair with "MT92C-BFXXXX" on your phone. Both wireless CarPlay and Android Auto connections work via WiFi.
2. Step 2: Check and open the Phone Audio. Go to Settings > System settings > Phone Audio > ON.
3. Step 3: Connect your phone to Bluetooth earphones or a Bluetooth helmet for audio output.

Note: Bluetooth and Wi-Fi must be turned on on all devices.

Audio Transmission Channel Selection

The built-in small speaker is not ideal for music playback. It is recommended to use Bluetooth speakers or headphones for optimal audio quality. iPhones can transmit audio by reconnecting Bluetooth audio devices.

Display Brightness and Visibility

The 1000 Nits high-brightness HD IPS touchscreen ensures clear readability even in direct sunlight. An auto-brightness sensor adjusts screen intensity based on ambient light, dimming at night and boosting during the day.

The Weuaste MT92A is designed for durability and all-weather use.

IP67 Waterproof Rating

The device features an IP67 waterproof rating, meaning it can withstand heavy rain, road spray, and pressure washing. The fully sealed housing and port caps protect internal electronics from dust, mud, and water immersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.

Cleaning

To clean the display, use a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the screen or housing.

Troubleshooting

• Device does not power on:
  • Ensure the power cable is securely connected.
  • If using the USB power cable, verify the motorcycle's USB port provides 5V1A-2A.
  • If using the step-down line, re-check the ACC power connection as described in the wiring section.
• No display/blank screen:
  • Check power connection.
  • Perform a forced restart using the button under the waterproof cover (refer to Figure 16).
• Cannot connect to smartphone (CarPlay/Android Auto/HiCar):
  • Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on both the MT92A and your smartphone.
  • Verify the correct device name ("MT92C-BFXXXX") is selected for pairing.
  • Confirm "Phone Audio" is enabled in the MT92A's system settings.
  • Restart both the MT92A and your smartphone and attempt connection again.
• Poor audio quality:
  • The built-in speaker is not designed for high-fidelity audio. Connect to external Bluetooth speakers or a Bluetooth helmet for better sound.
  • Ensure your Bluetooth audio device is properly paired and selected as the output.
