Draining Accumulated Water:

In high humidity conditions or when using dehumidify mode, water will accumulate inside the unit. The unit features auto-evaporation, but manual drainage may be necessary.

  • Intermittent Drainage: When the internal water tank is full, the unit will stop operating and display an error code (e.g., 'FL'). Place a shallow pan or tray under the drainage port at the bottom rear of the unit, remove the drain plug, and allow the water to drain. Replace the plug firmly once empty.
  • Continuous Drainage: For continuous dehumidification, attach the provided drainage pipe to the continuous drainage port (usually located higher on the back of the unit) and direct the other end into a floor drain or a larger container.

Storage:

When storing the unit for an extended period:

  1. Drain all accumulated water from the unit.
  2. Clean the air filter.
  3. Run the unit in fan-only mode for a few hours to dry the internal components.
  4. Unplug the unit and coil the power cord.
  5. Store the unit in an upright position in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.
