Setup

1. Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port and a USB power adapter (not included).

  • The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging.
  • A full charge provides up to 28 hours of playtime.

2. Power On/Off

Press and hold the Power Button for approximately 3 seconds to turn the speaker on or off. A sound prompt will indicate the power status.

3. Bluetooth Pairing

The Monster S180 uses Bluetooth 6.0 for stable and fast connections.

  1. Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED light.
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "Monster S180" from the list.
  4. Once paired, the LED light will stop flashing, and you will hear a confirmation sound.

The speaker has a Bluetooth range of up to 20 meters (66 feet) in open areas.

4. Wireless Stereo Pairing (TWS)

To achieve a true stereo sound experience, you can pair two Monster S180 speakers together.

  1. Ensure both Monster S180 speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), double-press the Play/Pause Button. It will search for the second speaker.
  3. The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. A confirmation sound will indicate successful pairing.
  4. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in step 3. Both speakers will play audio in stereo.

Operating Instructions

Basic Music Controls

  • Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause Button.
  • Volume Up: Short press the Volume Up Button.
  • Volume Down: Short press the Volume Down Button.
  • Next Track: Long press the Volume Up Button.
  • Previous Track: Long press the Volume Down Button.

AUX Mode

Connect an audio device using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX input port. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode or can be manually selected using the Mode Button.

TF Card Mode

Insert a MicroSD (TF) card with MP3 audio files into the TF card slot. The speaker will automatically switch to TF card mode and begin playback, or can be manually selected using the Mode Button.

Hands-free Calling

When connected via Bluetooth to your smartphone, the speaker can be used for hands-free calls.

  • Answer Call: Press the Play/Pause Button once.
  • End Call: Press the Play/Pause Button once during a call.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause Button for 2 seconds.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure all ports are dry before charging or connecting cables.

Storage

Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% every few months to maintain battery health.
