3. Setup

3.1 Powering On

Connect the provided power adapter to the DC 9V input on the rear panel of the VE200. The unit can also operate on its internal battery for approximately 5 hours on a full charge. Ensure the unit is charged before mobile use.

3.2 Connecting Microphones and Instruments

The VE200 features a versatile combo input on the side, accepting both XLR microphones and 1/4" TRS/TS signal cables.

  • Microphone Input: Connect your microphone to the combo input. If using a condenser microphone requiring phantom power, activate the 48V switch located next to the input.
  • Instrument Input: Connect your guitar or other instrument to the 6.35mm "GUITAR IN" jack on the top panel. This allows for separate routing of vocal and instrument signals.
